    Advice: Rodriguez was designated for assignment Sunday after posting a 6.55 ERA and 1.55 WHIP across 11 innings with the Red Sox. The 32-year-old southpaw will now officially remain with the organization, but he will not have the benefit of a 40-man roster spot and will likely need to show significant improvement in the minors before getting another shot in Boston.     Advice: It's been an eventful two days for Uribe, who is now headed to the minors after being handed a six-game suspension for his role in Tuesday's benches-clearing brawl versus the Rays. The right-hander appealed the ban and allowed a run on a hit and two walks over one inning Wednesday, and he now has a 6.91 ERA and 14:12 K:BB across 14.1 frames this season. The 22-year-old will likely be tasked with honing his command down at Triple-A, and the demotion will give Milwaukee some bullpen security with Freddy Peralta also facing a suspension, as Uribe won't begin serving his ban until he's back on the major-league roster. He set down Mitch Haniger and Jorge Polanco before getting Cal Raleigh to ground out to preserve the victory. The 34-year-old veteran stopper has converted eight of nine save opportunities this season to accompany a sparkling 2.19 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 9/3 K/BB ratio across 12 1/3 innings (13 appearances). He got Jack Suwinski to ground out and fanned Henry Davis before coaxing a game-ending ground out from Ke’Bryan Hayes. He averaged 100.8 mph on his fastball and needed just 10 pitches to spin a perfect frame. The hard-throwing 25-year-old righty has reeled off 12 consecutive scoreless appearances since April 2, and has converted eight saves to go along with a microscopic 1.26 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 29/4 K/BB ratio across 14 1/3 innings of work.   • Ross Stripling spins six shutout frames vs. Pirates
    Ross Stripling fired six shutout innings on Wednesday in a win over the Pirates.

    Advice: Stripling certainly wasn’t overpowering, mustering only a pair of strikeouts, but he managed to keep Pittsburgh’s lineup off balance with his five-pitch mix. He also consistently filled up the zone, throwing 58 of 79 pitches for strikes, and didn’t hand out a free pass in one of his better outings of the year. He’s allowed three earned runs or fewer in four consecutive starts since April 15, but the lack of strikeouts limits his streaming appeal almost exclusively to deeper mixed leagues. He’ll take a serviceable 4.24 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 27/8 K/BB ratio across 40 1/3 innings (seven starts) into a challenging home matchup on Tuesday against the Rangers. Rotoworld Today, 3:07 pm
