    • Allows rare run
Clase earned a save over the Giants on Sunday. He gave up a run on one hit in one inning of work.

Advice: Clase coughed up an out-of-character run on a Michael Conforto groundout. Clase was still able to close out the 5-4 win and pick up his 27th save of the year. He's given up just four earned runs through 42.1 innings this season, resulting in a 0.85 ERA. Sunday's outing snapped a nine-inning scoreless streak. Clase has converted 14 straight save chances and is 27 for 30 in 2024. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:43 pm
    • May need another rehab start
Woo (hamstring) threw 45 pitches and allowed two runs on a hit with two walks and two strikeouts over 2.2 innings during his rehab start with High-A Everett on Saturday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 24-year-old rejoined the Mariners on Sunday, but manager Scott Servais was non-committal on whether the right-hander will require an additional rehab outing. The club wants Woo to be able to cover at least four or five innings before being reinserted into the big-league rotation, so it wouldn't be surprising if he's sent on another rehab outing to further build up his workload before being activated. • Christian Yelich homers, plates three to lead Crew
Christian Yelich went 3-for-4 with a homer, double, three runs scored and three RBI on Sunday afternoon, leading the Brewers to a 9-2 rout of the Dodgers in Los Angeles.

Advice: Yelich opened the scoring in Sunday’s contest with a 418-foot (107.2 mph EV) two-run blast off of rookie left-hander Justin Wrobleski in the fourth inning. He then singled and scored on a two-run knock by Blake Perkins in the eighth inning. Yelich also tacked on an RBI double in the ninth and scored on a double by Garrett Mitchell. He’s having an outstanding season in the middle of the Brewers’ lineup, slashing .329/.407/.533 with 11 homers, 41 RBI and 19 stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:12 pm
    • Emmanuel Clase earns 27th save
Emmanuel Clase allowed one run on one hit but secured the save in a 5-4 win over the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Clase allowed a one-out double to Matt Chapman before Chapman advanced to third on a catcher’s interference and then scored on a groundout. Overall, it was a good appearance for Clase, who now has 27 saves to go along with a 0.85 ERA on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:53 pm
    • Sitting Sunday
Rodriguez (quadriceps) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays but could be available as a pinch hitter, Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com reports.

Advice: The 23-year-old was removed early in Saturday's contest due to discomfort in his lower right quadricep, though it doesn't appear he's dealing with a serious injury. Rodriguez may be available off the bench, but the Mariners could play it safe and give him a couple days to rest up as the team has a scheduled day off Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:52 am

    • MRI comes back clean on Rodríguez’s right quad
An MRI on Julio Rodríguez’s right quad showed no stuctural damage.

Advice: Rodríguez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Blue Jays, but the outfielder is being kept out for precautionary measures according to manager Scott Servais, and he could be available off the bench. Even with the 23-year-old struggling for most of the 2024 campaign, this is obviously welcome news to fantasy managers who hope to see better things from Rodríguez in the second half of 2024. • Julio Rodríguez (quad) out Sunday against Toronto
Julio Rodríguez (quad) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s finale against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Rodríguez was removed with a right quad injury during Saturday’s game against the Blue Jays, and it’s unsurprising that he’s going to miss at least one full game with the injury. How much more time he misses will depend on the results of his MRI. Victor Robles gets the start in center field and will hit ninth against Toronto on Sunday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:22 am

    • Receiving Sunday off
Murphy is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Phillies.

Advice: Murphy was on the bench for Friday's series opener and will also sit for Sunday's finale after going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Saturday's contest. Travis d'Arnaud will step in behind the plate to catch for righty Reynaldo Lopez. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:01 am

    • Brandon Pfaadt (ankle) expected to make next start
Brandon Pfaadt (ankle) is expected to make his next scheduled start.

Advice: That according to Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo. Pfaadt left Saturday’s start against the Padres after being hit in the left ankle by a 98 mph comebacker. Lovullo did caution that the team needs to see how Pfaadt responds to the injury, however. Don’t be surprised if the Diamondbacks end up taking precautions so close to the All-Star break, but it does appear he’s avoided a serious injury. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:14 am
