      Advice: The 28-year-old hurler struck out five batters on the night while allowing only one base on balls. The lone tally against him came on a 359-foot solo blast off the bat of Isaac Paredes in the third inning. Ryan generated a whopping 19 swings and misses on 94 pitches in the ballgame — 12 of those on his fastball — while registering a strong CSW of 36 percent.       Advice: Woo struggled early, allowing an RBI single by Josh Naylor in the first inning and a two-run home run by Steven Kwan in the second. He rebounded with two scoreless innings but was pulled after just 64 pitches with a 3-0 deficit. Considering he hasn't pitched since June 6 with a forearm injury, the Mariners were likely just being cautious with Woo's workload.       Dodgers placed RHP Walker Buehler on the 15-day injured list with right hip inflammation.

      Advice: Buehler was hit in the hip by a comebacker during Thursday’s bloodbath at Coors Field, so it gives the Dodgers a viable reason to stash him on the injured list for a couple of weeks while he works through some of his struggles. Buehler has pitched to a woeful 5.84 ERA and a 1.51 WHIP over 37 innings in eight starts since returning from the injured list.
