    • Mountcastle has four-hit game Thursday
Ryan Mountcastle went 4-for-5 with a double and two runs scored against the White Sox on Thursday.

Advice: Mountcastle scored on Jorge Mateo’s three-run home run in the fourth inning and on an Adley Rutschman home run in the sixth inning. The four hits marked a nice bounce back game for Mountcastle, who had been slumping. The Orioles have a deep group of hitters to choose from, but he should stay in the lineup as long as he continues to hit.

    • Luis Robert (hip) heading to Triple-A on Tuesday
Luis Robert (hip) will start a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Charlotte.

Advice: Finally some good news for Chicago as their star outfielder will wrap up play in Arizona this week before heading out to face some higher minor-league competition next week. There isn’t an exact timetable for Robert to return, but he figures to rejoin the White Sox’ struggling lineup at some point in early June. Rotoworld Today, 3:05 pm

    • Beginning assignment Tuesday
Robert (hip) will begin playing in rehab games at Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

Advice: Manager Pedro Grifol didn't specify exactly how long Robert will be in the minors, saying it will be a matter of getting him enough at-bats to get his timing down. The 26-year-old outfielder is currently playing in complex-league games in Arizona and seems to be trending toward a return in mid-June. Rotowire.com Today, 2:55 pm

    • Silences Dodgers over five frames
Nelson (3-3) earned the win Wednesday, shutting out the Dodgers over five innings while allowing five hits and three walks. He struck out five.

Advice: The right-hander didn't draw the start but relieved Brandon Hughes with just two outs in the first inning before pitching all the way into the sixth. Nelson struck out three of the first five batters he faced and induced 10 whiffs on the night, while also working his way out of multiple jams against a lethal Dodgers lineup. It was a great bounceback effort for Nelson after allowing a season-high eight runs in his previous outing. He's now won three of his last four decisions (spanning six outings). • Ryne Nelson shuts down Dodgers over five innings
Ryne Nelson tossed five shutout innings with five strikeouts in a win over the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Advice: Brandon Hughes had recorded the first two outs of the game as the opener. Nelson came in for the final out and shut down the Dodgers over five frames, scattering five hits and three walks with five strikeouts to earn the win. The 26-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 6.03 ERA, 1.83 WHIP, and a 28/10 K/BB ratio across 34 1/3 innings. His next outing should come against the Rangers in Texas next week. • Pulls Marlins to win
Chisholm went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Wednesday's 1-0 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Chisholm clubbed a leadoff homer in the first inning off Freddy Peralta, a long ball that ended up being the difference. In his last 16 games, Chisholm is batting .308 with three home runs, 13 runs and four stolen bases. The 26-year-old is one of seven players with at least seven long balls and nine stolen bases, joining Elly De La Cruz, Bobby Witt, Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Kyle Tucker on the exclusive list. • Another two-homer game
Soto went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Mariners.

Advice: This was Soto's second multi-homer game in the last five contests. He's gone 8-for-19 (.421) with six RBI and seven runs scored over that span. The star outfielder continues to fit right in with the Yankees, slashing .313/.409/.569 with 13 homers, 40 RBI, 37 runs scored, four stolen bases, nine doubles and a triple over his first 51 games with the team. • Steady in Wednesday's win
Cortes (3-4) earned the win Wednesday over the Mariners, allowing three hits and three walks while striking out six over five scoreless innings.

Advice: Cortes looks to have turned a corner, allowing just one unearned run over his last 12 innings spanning two starts. He's collected wins in both of those outings. Cortes is at a 3.29 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 63:15 K:BB through 65.2 innings over 11 starts this season. The southpaw will look to keep rolling in his next start, which is projected to be on the road versus the Angels. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:13 pm
    • Earns fifth win
Bello (5-2) allowed three runs on four hits and four walks while striking out six over six innings to earn the win over the Rays on Wednesday.

Advice: Bello completed six innings for the second time in eight outings this season, and he earned his second quality start in the process. The Rays scored three times in the second inning, but the Red Sox offense rallied for eight runs over the fifth and sixth frames to give Bello plenty of support. The right-hander is now at a 4.04 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 37:13 K:BB through 42.1 innings. Walks typically haven't been an outsized issue for Bello, so there's not much reason for concern that he was a little wild Wednesday. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Orioles. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:17 pm
