    • Bryan De La Cruz smacks 15th homer
Bryan De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored on Sunday against the Phillies.

Advice: De La Cruz’s 15 home runs are incredibly sneaky. Just four off his career-high 19 he set last year, his 10.9 barrel rate suggest the power outburst is real. De La Cruz has always had tremendous physical tools and is now showing genuine, all-fields power. He’s a name to watch ahead of the trade deadline as a move out of the cavernous loanDepot Park in Miami could increase his power potential. Rotoworld Today, 1:59 pm
    • On bench Sunday
Taveras is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: It's the second straight game on the bench for Taveras despite having a .782 OPS in his past 11 games. Derek Hill will take over in center field and bat seventh in the series finale at Baltimore. Rotowire.com Today, 1:56 pm

    • Wilyer Abreu collects two hits in victory
Wilyer Abreu singled twice and walked in his three plate appearances Sunday as the Red Sox topped the Padres 4-1.

Advice: In spite of the strong showing, Abreu was still lifted for a pinch-hitter against a lefty reliever in the eighth. Abreu hit his line drive singles 107 and 104 mph today. He had been 2-for-16 since coming off the injured list last week, but he’s a worthy option in mixed leagues right now. Rotoworld Today, 1:38 pm

    • Smacks homer in loss
Hill went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Hill briefly put the Rangers ahead 2-1 when he took Cade Povich deep in the fifth inning. Hill has hit safely in each of his three games since he was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock, though he's also struck out four times over 10 plate appearances in that span. He's hitting .263 (5-for-19) with two stolen bases in the majors this year, and he's likely to function as a fourth outfielder as long as he's up with the Rangers. • Garrett Mitchell not likely to join Brewers Sunday
Brewers’ manager Pat Murphy said after Saturday’s loss to the Cubs that he didn’t expect Garrett Mitchell to join the big league roster on Sunday.

Advice: It’s curious, as Murphy told reporters after Friday’s game that there was no plan to option Mitchell to Triple-A Nashville once his rehab assignment came to an end on Saturday. Something has to give. It sounds like the 25-year-old outfielder is going to remain at the Triple-A level for the time being instead of adding to an already crowded outfield mix in Milwaukee. • Luke Raley (shoulder) returns to lineup Saturday
Luke Raley (shoulder) returned to the Mariners’ starting lineup on Saturday.

Advice: Raley missed each of the team’s previous two games due to soreness in his shoulder. He’s right back out there on Saturday night though, batting fifth and starting in left field against Pablo Lopez and the Twins. The 29-year-old has hit .253/.299/.444 with nine homers, 22 RBI and five stolen bases in 212 plate appearances with the M’s this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:11 pm

    • Back in lineup
Raley (shoulder) will bat fifth and play left field Saturday against Minnesota.

Advice: Raley was held out of the starting nine for back-to-back games with shoulder soreness, but he's feeling good enough to start Saturday. He entered Friday's 3-2 win as a pinch runner in the eighth inning and put down a sacrifice bunt in his lone plate appearance. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:51 pm

    • Taking seat Saturday
Taveras isn't in the Rangers' lineup for Saturday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: Taveras will get a breather Saturday after going 3-for-7 with an RBI through the first two games of the series. Derek Hill will fill the void in center field and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:54 pm

    • Finishing month on upswing
Taveras went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and an RBI in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Taveras had a bases-loaded walk and swiped his ninth bag in the loss. He's set up for a fourth consecutive season of double-digit steals. The outfielder was having a brutal month, but he's finishing June on an upswing. After enduring a 2-for-45 (.044) stretch over 14 games, Taveras has hit safely in seven of the subsequent 10 contests, going 9-for-29 (.310) with three steals, a home run, five RBI and an additional three runs scored.
