    • Homers in Tuesday's loss
Winker went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 9-7 loss to the Padres.

Advice: Winker took Adam Mazur deep in the third inning to cap off a four-run rally for the Nationals. That was Winker's ninth homer of the year and his third over the last seven contests. The outfielder is up to a .264/.382/.419 slash line with 36 RBI, 37 runs scored and 12 stolen bases through 76 games this season. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago

    • Most productive game of season
Walls went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored Tuesday against the Mariners.

Advice: Walls recorded just his second multi-hit game in 12 starts this season, and the performance brought his average to .175 on the campaign. Despite his struggles at the plate, Walls has made five consecutive starts at shortstop, all of which have come against right-handed pitchers. Rotowire.com 17 minutes ago

    • Mickey Moniak’s first grand slam propels Angels
Mickey Moniak hit his first career grand slam Tuesday to lead the Angels past the A’s 7-5.

Advice: Moniak’s slam was a homer in only six ballparks, says Statcast, but that was mostly because of its low trajectory; Moniak crushed the pitch, which left his bat at 107.9 mph. He’s earned himself some extra playing time by hitting .254/.333/.475 in 66 plate appearances this month. He came in at just .169/.208/.242 over the first two months. Rotoworld 28 minutes ago

    • Carlos Estévez strikes out two for 15th save
Carlos Estévez struck out two in a scoreless ninth for his 15th save Tuesday against the A’s.

Advice: Estévez came up one batter shy of completing a closer’s perfect game; he’d retired 26 straight over nine outings before giving up a single to Tyler Soderstrom tonight. He then struck out Shea Langerhans to end the game. His ERA has dropped from 5.06 ERA to 3.24 during this nearly perfect stretch. Rotoworld 28 minutes ago
    • Mitch Spence gives up six runs to Angels in loss
Mitch Spence was tagged for six runs in 5 1/3 innings Tuesday in a loss to the Angels.

Advice: Spence has strictly alternated good and bad outings in eight starts since joining the A’s rotation, so if you like to put any stock in that kind of thing, he could bounce back while facing the Angels again next time out. We’d continue to shy away, though. Rotoworld 28 minutes ago

    • Earns first career win
Mazur (1-2) allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while failing to record a strikeout over five innings, but he earned the win Tuesday over the Nationals.

Advice: Washington did all of its damage in the third inning, which was punctuated by a two-run home run by Jesse Winker. Mazur was able to rebound over two more frames, and the Padres' offense pulled ahead for good in the fifth. The right-hander's first major-league win wasn't pretty, but that's been typical for the 23-year-old as he tries to find his footing with the Padres. He's at a 7.25 ERA, 1.84 WHIP and 11:17 K:BB over 22.1 innings through five starts. He'll likely head back to Triple-A El Paso once Yu Darvish (groin/elbow) is cleared to return, which could happen next week but is far from a guarantee. Rotowire.com 28 minutes ago

    • Three-game hitting streak
Jimenez went 1-for-5 with a double and an RBI on Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Jimenez started in his third consecutive game since being activated from the injured list Sunday, and he has one hit in each contest. His performance Tuesday marked his first extra-base hit in that span, and he also has one RBI and one run scored. Jimenez has hit either third or fourth in every game since his return. • Awarded win Tuesday
Rogers (1-2) pitched a perfect inning and was awarded the win Tuesday over the Cubs.

Advice: The Giants led from the second inning on during the bullpen game. Rogers was the first reliever to post a clean outing, and the official scorer handed him his first win of the campaign. Aside from a June 18 three-run meltdown versus these same Cubs in Chicago, Rogers has had a good month. He's kept runs off the board in his other 10 appearances while adding four holds in a setup role. For the season, he's at a 2.92 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 27:2 K:BB with a save, 12 holds and a blown save across 37 innings. Rotowire.com 41 minutes ago
    • Third homer of June
Benintendi went 1-for-3 with two walks and a two-run home run Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Benintendi helped the White Sox get off to a hot start, as he delivered his home run in the first inning. He has been limited to 11 games in June due to an Achilles injury, but Benintendi has enjoyed a productive month by homering three times, driving in five and scoring five runs while also maintaining a .286 batting average. Despite the productive stretch, he still has just a .249 wOBA and 58 wRC+ across 233 plate appearances on the season. Rotowire.com 44 minutes ago
