    • Anthony Santander stays hot with another homer
Anthony Santander slugged a solo homer on Tuesday in the Orioles’ loss to the Guardians.

    • Ranger Suárez stumbles in loss to Tigers
Ranger Suárez allowed four runs over six innings on Tuesday in a loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Suárez was simply outdueled by Tigers ace Tarik Skubal on Tuesday night at Comerica Park as the pair traded zeroes until the fifth inning when Detroit’s lineup struck for four runs on five hits in the frame. He finished with four punchouts and didn’t hand out a free pass. It was just the second time this season through 16 starts that he’s allowed four earned runs or more. He’s in line for an extremely favorable home matchup on Sunday against the Marlins. Rotoworld Today, 5:50 pm
    • Sharp in third win
Lynn (3-3) allowed a run on four hits over 6.2 innings Monday, striking out five and earning a win over Atlanta.

Advice: Lynn turned in four shutout frames before coughing up a solo homer to Austin Riley in the fifth inning, but he was otherwise nearly untouchable. It was a much-needed rebound for Lynn, as he registered an unsightly 7.90 ERA over 13.2 innings in his previous three outings. He earned his first win since May 21 with his longest outing since April 16, lowering his season ERA to 3.86 with a 78:30 K:BB through 16 starts. Lynn's next outing lines up for this coming weekend at home against the Reds. Rotowire.com Today, 7:14 am
    • Runs up pitch count in no-decision
Peralta allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six batters over five innings in a no-decision against Texas on Monday.

Advice: Peralta pitched pretty well in the outing, but he could go only five frames as a result of throwing 104 pitches. That's been a theme for the right-hander of late, as he's completed six innings in only one of his past six starts despite allowing three or fewer earned runs in five of those outings. Peralta's 4.03 ERA and 1.17 WHIP on the campaign are on pace for his worst marks since 2019, though he's been able to rack up 112 strikeouts (fifth-most in the majors) over 87 innings. • Freddy Peralta strikes out six against Rangers
Freddy Peralta allowed two runs over five innings and struck out six versus the Rangers on Monday.

Advice: Peralta got 15 whiffs tonight, but he ran up a pitch count of 104 in five innings, preventing him from working any deeper into the game. He’s finished six innings just once in his last six starts, which is a real problem given that he’s supposed to be the ace of a rotation that’s quite shorthanded at the moment. • Blows second save
Munoz was charged with a blown save Monday against Tampa Bay, allowing one hit and one walk with one strikeout in one-third of an inning.

Advice: Munoz entered the game in the bottom of the eighth inning with two outs and runners on second and third. He walked Jose Caballero before allowing a two-run single to Yandy Diaz, giving the Rays a 4-3 lead. While Munoz blew the save, it is encouraging that he was called upon for the high-leverage situation over fellow closer Ryne Stanek, who pitched a scoreless seventh inning. The Mariners closer situation should still be considered a committee moving forward, with Munoz offering the most upside. Despite blowing the save, the 25-year-old has been dominant this season, compiling a 1.41 ERA, a 1.00 WHIP and a 43:11 K:BB over 32 innings, converting 13-of-15 save opportunities with six holds. • Lynn gets third win against Braves Monday
Lance Lynn allowed one run in 6 2/3 innings and got the win in the Cardinals’ 4-3 victory over the Braves on Monday.

Advice: Lynn gave up four hits, walked none and struck out five. The win was Lynn’s third of the year. It was his first quality start since May 27th. Lynn lowered his ERA to 3.86 and he has a 4.02 xFIP on the season. His 5.73 ERA from last year appears to be an outlier. Lynn is close to getting a strikeout per inning, but he’s only completed six innings in four of his 16 starts this year. The 37-year-old right-hander is set to face the Reds at home this weekend.

    • Homers in four-hit performance
Bohm went 4-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double, a stolen base and an additional RBI in Monday's win over the Tigers.

Advice: Bohm got started early Monday, slugging a two-run home run in the opening frame to give the Phillies a 4-0 lead. The 27-year-old wasn't done, recording three more hits including his MLB-leading 28th double of the season. Bohm has been excellent in the month of June, batting .329 with four home runs, six doubles, 17 RBI, 10 runs scored and two stolen bases. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:06 pm

    • Alec Bohm posts four hits, homers in victory
Alec Bohm went 4-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI on Monday in the Phillies’ lopsided win over the Tigers.

Advice: Bohm capped off Philadelphia’s four-run explosion in the opening frame with a two-run shot -- his ninth big fly of the season -- off Tigers starter Casey Mize. He also added an RBI double in the late stages of Monday’s blowout at Comerica Park to finish off an impressive four-hit performance. The 27-year-old corner infielder has been a key contributor in the heart of the Phillies’ lineup this season with the best year of his career so far, batting .313 (92-for-294) with nine homers, 64 RBI and four steals across 76 games.
