      Trevor Larnach went 0-for-4 and grounded into a double play against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

      Advice: Larnach hit three balls over 100 mph tonight, but he had no luck with any of them. He’s batting just .218/.254/.382 this month on the heels of an already poor May, and one wonders if the Twins might have him and Matt Wallner, who has been red hot in Triple-A, swap spots in the near future.       Tinoco signed a minor-league contract with the Royals on Tuesday.

      Advice: Tinoco elected to become a free agent after being DFA'd by Texas and clearing waivers last week. He allowed nine earned runs in 10 innings with the Rangers, but the Royals have deemed his 3.72 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in Triple-A worthy of a spot in their Triple-A bullpen.       Advice: Palacios doubled and scored in the second inning and then walked and scored in the sixth. He had a huge seventh inning, hitting an RBI single, stealing second and coming around to score for the third time in the contest. Palacios has tallied three multi-hit efforts and two steals in his past four games and is now hitting .249 with four home runs, 16 RBI and 12 stolen bases over 197 at-bats in 2024.       Naylor went 3-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored in a 10-8 win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

      Advice: Naylor was active early, doubling and scoring in the second inning and then singling and scoring the third. He hit an RBI triple and came around to score again in the eighth. Naylor finished a home run shy of a cycle in his first three-hit effort of the season. Over his past five games, Naylor has gone 8-for-18 with six extra-base hits, five RBI and six runs scored. The 29-year-old righty has made nine starts since his last win against the Rays on May 8, producing a 5.81 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 35:19 K:BB over 43.1 innings over that span.       Andrew Benintendi went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Dodgers



      Advice: Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first after a leadoff homer by Shohei Ohtani, Benintendi put the White Sox on top when he smacked a two-run homer to deep right field to score Tommy Pham and give the White Sox a 2-1 lead. That lead didn’t prove to be enough, as the Dodgers bounced back courtesy of a two-run homer by Freddie Freeman and an RBI single by Ohtani.       Chris Flexen allowed four earned runs over 5 2/3 innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Dodgers.

      Advice: Things couldn’t have gotten off to a worse start for Flexen, who was taken deep by Shohei Ohtani in the first inning for a leadoff homer. He would go on to pitch a scoreless second inning but followed that up by allowing a two-run homer to Freddie Freeman in the third and an RBI single to Ohtani in the fourth.       Advice: Chris Flexen’s fifth pitch of the night turned into a 400-foot homer by Ohtani to kick off the first inning. Ohtani’s homer extended his RBI streak to nine games, which ties the Dodgers’ single-season record.       Ben Rortvedt went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBI in an 11-3 win over the Mariners on Tuesday.

      Advice: Rortvedt’s home run came in a one-run game in the sixth inning and broke the game open for the Rays. It traveled 392 feet at 103.7 mph and was the catcher’s third home run of the season. Rortvedt is slashing a solid .274/.369/.390 on the season and is now 15-for-45 (.333) in June with three home runs and 14 RBI in 14 games.
