    • Jung (wrist) in lineup for Triple-A Round Rock
Josh Jung (wrist) is in the lineup for a rehab appearance for Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday.

Advice: Jung will be in the lineup for the first time for Round Rock as he works his way back from the fractured wrist that has sidelined him since early April. The infielder will likely need at least a few games in the PCL before he’s ready to return, but this is obviously most welcome news for both Texas and fantasy managers who have patiently waited for him to return. • Takes live BP
Jung (wrist) took live batting practice Thursday, Kenndi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The third baseman saw pitches from Tyler Mahle (elbow) as they both continue their rehabs. The next step for Jung is a trip to Triple-A Round Rock to continue live BP before he officially begins a rehab assignment, and he remains on track to return before the end of the month. • Picks up ninth steal
Henderson went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Thursday's 6-3 loss to Atlanta.

Advice: Henderson has two steals over 12 games in June, and he's gone 16-for-48 (.333) with three home runs and six doubles in that span. The shortstop has hit safely in 14 of his last 15 contests as he continues to provide all-around excellence from the top of the Orioles' lineup. He's at a .273/.372/.592 slash line with 21 home runs, nine steals, 47 RBI and 55 runs scored through 67 games overall. Rotowire.com Friday, 12:07 am
    • Josh Jung (wrist) heads out on rehab assignment
Josh Jung (wrist) will begin a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday.

Advice: Jung spent the morning with the Rangers, where he took live batting practice off of rehabbing right-hander Tyler Mahle, before packing up and heading off to his rehab assignment. Expect the 26-year-old slugger to remain there through the weekend before potentially rejoining the Rangers next week. Rotoworld Wednesday, 4:06 pm

    • Christopher Morel has two hits, HR in loss
Christopher Morel went 2-for-4 with a solo home runs and two runs scored in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

Advice: Morel crushed a 409-foot home run off of Zach Eflin for his 13th home run on the season. Both of his hits were at least 102.7 mph, but he also struck out once in the game, so he showed his full profile. The 24-year-old is hitting just .208 on the year, so even though the power is undeniable, he’ll need to keep producing like this if he wants to remain a fixture in the lineup as the Cubs make a playoff push over the summer. • Pops 13th home run
Morel went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Rays.

Advice: Morel connected for this third home run of the month and 13th of the season in the fourth inning. The 24-year-old is now halfway to his long ball total from last year through 66 games. Morel only needed 107 contests to record those 26 homers in 2023, but he seems primed to play more games this season if he stays healthy, and that could result in a new career best in the power department. • Josh Jung (wrist) getting close to rehab games
Josh Jung (wrist) will take at-bats in a live batting practice session on Wednesday.

Advice: The hope is that Jung will be ready to get into minor league rehab contests at some point in the near future after progressing to taking batting practice last weekend. The 26-year-old slugger has been brought along slowly since early-April surgery on his right wrist, but should return before the end of the month. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:27 pm

    • Gunnar Henderson gets day off Tuesday vs. ATL
Gunnar Henderson is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against Atlanta.

Advice: Henderson has played in all 65 games thus far, but at least to begin the game, he’ll take a seat for the opener against Atlanta. Jordan Westburg is leading off for the Orioles, and Jorge Mateo (concussion) is off the injured list to get the start at shortstop. Henderson should be back in action Wednesday. • Getting breather Tuesday
Henderson is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Henderson will get his first day off of the season after appearing in each of the Orioles' first 65 games of 2024. The breather comes on the 12th day of a streak of 17 straight games. Jorge Mateo (concussion) was activated from the 7-day IL and will start at shortstop and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:15 pm
