    • Fernando Tatis Jr. goes 4-for-5, hits 14th homer
Fernando Tatis Jr. went 4-for-5 with a homer versus the Brewers in Thursday’s victory.

Advice: Tatis had the two hardest-hit balls in the game with his 112-mph homer and 111-mph single. It’s been a month since his last multi-RBI game on May 19, but that’s not really his fault. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:17 pm
    • Fernando Tatis Jr. in lineup Thursday vs. Brewers
Fernando Tatis Jr. is in the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Brewers.

Advice: Tatis got a day off earlier this week to address a lingering quad issue that he’s been playing through for the last few weeks. It’s possible the nagging issue has impacted his performance recently as he’s batting .130 (3-for-23) over his last seven games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:00 pm
    • Sitting against lefty
Raley is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: With lefty Logan Allen on the hill for Cleveland, Raley and fellow left-handed-hitting regulars Dominic Canzone and Josh Rojas will retreat to the bench. Victor Robles will step in for Raley as the Mariners' starting left fielder. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:55 am

    • Collects two hits, stolen base
Langford went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and a stolen base in a 5-3 victory versus the Mets on Wednesday.

Advice: Langford logged an RBI on a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch in the first inning and added a run-scoring single in the sixth. The rookie finished with his sixth multi-hit effort in June and pushed his batting average up to .288 on the month. That's a nice improvement after Langford batted just .222 coming into June, and the added hits have helped him become more of a run producer. Of Langford's 24 RBI on the season, 11 have come across his 16 contests this month. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:43 pm

    • Knocks eighth homer Tuesday
Raley went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in a win over the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Raley's 371-foot shot to left in the fifth inning extended the Mariners' lead to 6-1 while serving as his second homer in the last six games and fourth of June overall. The offseason arrival has followed up his career year with the Rays last season in reasonably good form, as he's now sporting a solid .258 average and .749 OPS across 62 games. • Without return timeline
Trout (knee) said Tuesday that his recovery from meniscus surgery has gone slower than expected and that he's without an official timetable for return, Sam Blum of The Athleticreports.

Advice: The 32-year-old underwent the procedure to repair a torn meniscus in early May and has yet to start up a running program. Trout is currently trying to find exercises that allow him to progress with minimal soreness, so he doesn't appear particularly close to baseball work. Barring a significant improvement in the near future, Trout seems likely to be sidelined well beyond the All-Star break in mid-July. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 4:09 pm

    • Mike Trout (knee) remains without return timeline
Mike Trout (knee) told reporters Tuesday that he hasn’t resumed running and remains without a definitive return timeline.

Advice: Trout added that his recovery from last month’s surgery to repair a meniscus tear in his left knee has been progressing slower than he wants, which doesn’t exactly inspire confidence that he’ll make it back at any point in the near future. The 32-year-old generational talent is roughly six weeks removed from the procedure and there isn’t any sort of timeline for his potential return at this juncture. Rotoworld Tuesday, 2:41 pm

    • Mike Tauchman hits IL with Grade 2 groin strain
Cubs placed OF Mike Tauchman on the 10-day injured list with a left groin strain.

Advice: Cubs manager Craig Counsell told reporters Tauchman has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 left groin strain and is expected to miss at least one month. The 33-year-old was lifted from Monday’s game against the Giants with left groin tightness. His absence should open up regular at-bats for top prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong moving forward. • Diagnosed with Grade 2 groin strain
The Cubs placed Tauchman on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a Grade 2 left groin strain, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Advice: The injury is expected to take about four weeks to heal, although it's not clear whether that's a potential return target or when he'll ramp up baseball activities. Either way, Tauchman will be out, at minimum, until after the All-Star break. Cody Bellinger is starting in right field Tuesday and could see more action there while Tauchman is sidelined.
