    Advice: Benintendi helped the White Sox get off to a hot start, as he delivered his home run in the first inning. He has been limited to 11 games in June due to an Achilles injury, but Benintendi has enjoyed a productive month by homering three times, driving in five and scoring five runs while also maintaining a .286 batting average.     Advice: Jeffers' seventh-inning blast briefly tied the game at 4-4 before the Diamondbacks took the lead back a half-inning later. The catcher opened June 0-for-17, but he's hit safely in seven of his last eight games, going 8-for-31 (.258) in that span.     Jurickson Profar hit a grand slam Tuesday in the Padres’ 9-7 takedown of the Nationals.

    Advice: This game had a little bit of everything, including a benches-clearing incident, a manager ejection, some extended player admiration of home runs, ugly defense, boneheaded baserunning and 16 runs in all. What it didn’t have was strikeouts; the teams totaled just five, and Nationals hitters went the first eight innings without any at all. Profar, coming off a walkoff hit Monday, was involved in the early confrontation that emptied the dugouts and then immediately was hit by a pitch after warnings were issued. Immediately after that, he scored on a Manny Machado homer. His slam, a line-drive homer down the right field line, was the fourth of his career.     Advice: It’s too bad this netted Abrams only one run and one RBI, even though the Nationals scored seven times. Unfortunately, the play from Abrams in this game that everyone will see was him being thrown out after lazily going back to first base following a single. He was also picked off first base in the game. He later appeared to have a stolen base, only to wind up getting sent back to first base because the umpire interfered with the catcher’s throw.     Advice: Buxton got the Twins on the board with his fifth-inning solo shot and was also a part of their rally in the seventh. The outfielder has gone 8-for-20 (.400) with six extra-base hits over his last five games. He slumped early in June but has rebounded to get his slash line to .255/.302/.435 with six homers, 26 RBI, 28 runs scored and five stolen bases over 215 plate appearances this year.     Brett Wisely went 2-for-4 with a run scored from the leadoff spot in the Giants’ 5-1 defeat of the Cubs on Tuesday.

    Advice: Wisely’s second hit, a 403-foot double to left-center, would have been a homer in 29 of 30 ballparks and really a no-doubter in most of them. Oracle Park isn’t built that way, though.
