  • Spencer Steer homers and walks in defeat
Spencer Steer homered and walked in a loss to the Tigers on Saturday.

Advice: Steer swatted a solo shot in the ninth inning, which is good, but it came with the Reds down 5-2, which is bad for Cincinnati and unimportant for fantasy managers. He’s really swung the bat well as of late while vastly improving his still slightly-underwhelming slash of .243/.336/.435. The 13 homers and 13 steals sure have helped, however. Taj Bradley allowed two runs (one earned) in six innings and got a no-decision against the Rangers on Saturday.

The 23-year-old right-hander is set to face the Guardians at home next weekend.
