    Corbin Carroll went 1-for-5 with a triple and two RBI against the Dodgers on Wednesday.

    Advice: Carroll put the Diamondbacks on the board in the fifth inning, hitting a triple off Tyler Glasnow to bring two runs in to score. He then cross home plate on a wild pitch. The 23-year-old outfielder has put together a modest five-game hitting streak.     Chisholm went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Wednesday's 1-0 win over the Brewers.

    Advice: Chisholm clubbed a leadoff homer in the first inning off Freddy Peralta, a long ball that ended up being the difference. In his last 16 games, Chisholm is batting .308 with three home runs, 13 runs and four stolen bases. The 26-year-old is one of seven players with at least seven long balls and nine stolen bases, joining Elly De La Cruz, Bobby Witt, Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Kyle Tucker on the exclusive list.     Advice: Schneider's two-run single sparked a seven-run rally for the Blue Jays in the second inning. The second baseman is up to three steals on the year, all of which have come since May 5.     Jazz Chisholm went 1-for-4 with a solo home run on Wednesday against the Brewers.

    Advice: Chisholm’s first-inning home run wound up being the only run scored in the pitcher’s duel between Jesús Luzardo and Freddy Peralta.     Steer (ankle) will start at first base and bat sixth in Wednesday's game against the Padres.

    Advice: Steer didn't start in either of the last two games while managing a sore ankle, though he felt well enough to make a pinch-hitting appearance in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Dodgers. Monday's team off day plus an absence from the lineup in Tuesday's 2-0 win over San Diego appears to have provided sufficient time for Steer to move past the ankle issue. He'll likely continue to see the bulk of his starts at first base rather than in the corner outfield for the duration of Christian Encarnacion-Strand's (wrist) stint on the injured list.
