• Receiving Thursday off
Bryant is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: Bryant will be joined on the bench by Elias Diaz, Charlie Blackmon and Brendan Rodgers as the Rockies rest four key regulars for the day game after a night game. After being activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Bryant started at first base in both of the first two games of the series in Oakland, going 1-for-8 with two walks between the contests. Elehuris Montero will replace Bryant at first base Thursday. Rotowire.com Today, 10:44 am

  • Corbin Carroll triples, plates two in win Wednesday
Corbin Carroll went 1-for-5 with a triple and two RBI against the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Advice: Carroll put the Diamondbacks on the board in the fifth inning, hitting a triple off Tyler Glasnow to bring two runs in to score. He then cross home plate on a wild pitch. The 23-year-old outfielder has put together a modest five-game hitting streak. Carroll has struggled mightily to start the season, slashing .191/.275/.282 with two homers, 21 runs scored, 16 RBI, and eight steals across 211 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:01 pm
  • Pulls Marlins to win
Chisholm went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Wednesday's 1-0 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Chisholm clubbed a leadoff homer in the first inning off Freddy Peralta, a long ball that ended up being the difference. In his last 16 games, Chisholm is batting .308 with three home runs, 13 runs and four stolen bases. The 26-year-old is one of seven players with at least seven long balls and nine stolen bases, joining Elly De La Cruz, Bobby Witt, Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Kyle Tucker on the exclusive list. • Sparks rally Wednesday
Schneider went 1-for-4 with a walk, two RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Wednesday's 9-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Schneider's two-run single sparked a seven-run rally for the Blue Jays in the second inning. The second baseman is up to three steals on the year, all of which have come since May 5. He's added a .246/.345/.451 slash line with five home runs, 19 RBI, 20 runs scored and 10 doubles across 142 plate appearances. Schneider has hit leadoff in five straight games, with four of those games against a right-handed starting pitcher. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:54 pm

  • Jazz Chisholm hits solo homer in win
Jazz Chisholm went 1-for-4 with a solo home run on Wednesday against the Brewers.

Advice: Chisholm’s first-inning home run wound up being the only run scored in the pitcher’s duel between Jesús Luzardo and Freddy Peralta. That was his second lead-off home run this season and the seventh of his career as he’s very casually up to seven homers and nine steals on the campaign. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:49 pm
  • Returns to starting nine
Steer (ankle) will start at first base and bat sixth in Wednesday's game against the Padres.

Advice: Steer didn't start in either of the last two games while managing a sore ankle, though he felt well enough to make a pinch-hitting appearance in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Dodgers. Monday's team off day plus an absence from the lineup in Tuesday's 2-0 win over San Diego appears to have provided sufficient time for Steer to move past the ankle issue. He'll likely continue to see the bulk of his starts at first base rather than in the corner outfield for the duration of Christian Encarnacion-Strand's (wrist) stint on the injured list. • Getting rest Wednesday
Mullins is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Advice: After playing the final three innings of Tuesday's suspended game earlier Wednesday and finishing 0-for-3 in Baltimore's 3-1 loss, Mullins will get a breather for the regularly scheduled game. Colton Cowser will shift over from his usual spot in left field to make room in the lineup for Austin Hays and will replace Mullins in center field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:35 am

  • Goes yard twice in rout
Buxton went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Tuesday's 10-0 win over the Nationals.

Advice: The 30-year-old slugger took Patrick Corbin deep in the second and fifth innings, his first long balls in four games since coming off the IL and his first multi-homer performance of 2024. Buxton had managed only one home run in 28 games prior to knee trouble that shut him down in early May, but Tuesday's fireworks are a strong sign he's fully healthy. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:19 am
  • Quiet in return
Bryant went 0-for-4 with a strikeout Tuesday against the Athletics.

Advice: Bryant was activated from the injured list Tuesday and appeared in the lineup for the first time since April 13. He returned to play first base and hit fifth in the order, though he was unable to reach base. Despite maintaining a .489 OPS through 59 plate appearances, Bryant projects to remain a regular in the Rockies' lineup moving forward. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:04 am
