    Advice: Goldschmidt opened the scoring in the first inning with his homer, though the Marlins quickly answered with a three-run blast from Jesus Sanchez in their half of the frame. Goldschmidt has gone 8-for-29 (.276) with two homers over his last seven contests, and he's been held hitless just twice in 17 games in June.     Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's win against the Pirates.

    Advice: He plated the first runs of the game, taking Mitch Keller deep in the third inning. With the long ball, Goldschmidt snapped a 14-game homerless drought. The veteran now has a hit in 11 of his last 12 games, but he still has just five RBI over his last 15 contests.     Lowe started at first base and went 1-for-4 in Tuesday's 15-2 loss to the Dodgers.

    Advice: Lowe, who had been held out of the starting lineup against the previous three left-handed starters the Rangers faced, was in the starting nine against lefty James Paxton. In those previous three games, Ezequiel Duran started at first base, but he was used at shortstop while Josh Smith was given a break and Corey Seager (hamstring) was unavailable.
