      Luis Robert went 2-for-3 with a homer in a victory over Atlanta on Thursday in the first game of a doubleheader.

      Advice: Robert’s homer was not only the only run Chris Sale allowed and not only the only run for the White Sox, it was the only run scored by either team Thursday. The 26-year-old has homered eight times in his 103 at-bats while driving in 12 runs.       Ian Happ hit a go-ahead homer in the 10th to help give the Cubs a 5-3 win over the Giants on Thursday.

      Advice: Happ gave the Cubs a 5-3 lead with a two-run shot off Luke Jackson to give Chicago the 5-3 lead and ultimately the victory. The 29-year-old had been scuffling as of late with just two hits in his last 21 at-bats coming into the contest, but he was able to procure his 10th homer and 41st and 42nd RBI in this one.       Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBI against the Twins on Wednesday.



      Advice: Gurriel Jr. drove in two of the D-Backs’ three runs against the Twins, starting with a triple in the fourth to bring in the first run of the game for Arizona. With a runner on third in the sixth inning, he drove in a second run with a sacrifice fly. The 30-year-old outfielder is hitting .260/.293/.409 with 10 homers and 45 RBI across 310 plate appearances.       Advice: Ward launched a homer for the second consecutive night, tagging Sean Newcomb for a solo shot in the seventh inning. He's riding a five-game hit streak, batting 7-for-15 (.467) with five extra-base hits, five runs scored and a stolen base during that stretch. Ward also ranks top 20 in the AL in home runs and RBI. The outfielder may be coming back around at the plate, as he's hit safely in four straight games, but he's at a .241/.326/.431 slash line with 40 RBI, 37 runs scored and three stolen bases through 75 contests overall.     • Robert Jr. has double, two walks in loss Monday
      Luis Robert Jr. went 1-for-2 with a double and two walks against the Dodgers on Monday.

      Advice: Robert Jr. only has 91 at-bats this season, but he’s hitting .198 with a 35 percent strikeout percentage. For one of the most talked about potential trade pieces in baseball, he’s really had a rough season. Robert Jr.'s BABIP is only .217, which is well below his career .328 BABIP, but he still needs to cut his strikeouts. Maybe the two walks show that he’s seeing it better at the plate and he can start to turn his season around with a little more than a month before the trade deadline.
