Ward went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run during Tuesday's 7-5 win over Oakland.

Advice: Ward launched a homer for the second consecutive night, tagging Sean Newcomb for a solo shot in the seventh inning. He's riding a five-game hit streak, batting 7-for-15 (.467) with five extra-base hits, five runs scored and a stolen base during that stretch. Ward also ranks top-20 in the AL in home runs and RBI. • Homers in Monday's win
Ward went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Monday's 5-1 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Ward gave the Angels all the offense they needed with his first-inning blast. This was his 13th homer of the season, but it's just his second over the last 24 contests. The outfielder may be coming back around at the plate, as he's hit safely in four straight games, but he's at a .241/.326/.431 slash line with 40 RBI, 37 runs scored and three stolen bases through 75 contests overall. • Robert Jr. has double, two walks in loss Monday
Luis Robert Jr. went 1-for-2 with a double and two walks against the Dodgers on Monday.

Advice: Robert Jr. only has 91 at-bats this season, but he’s hitting .198 with a 35 percent strikeout percentage. For one of the most talked about potential trade pieces in baseball, he’s really had a rough season. Robert Jr.'s BABIP is only .217, which is well below his career .328 BABIP, but he still needs to cut his strikeouts. Maybe the two walks show that he’s seeing it better at the plate and he can start to turn his season around with a little more than a month before the trade deadline. • Logs fifth straight multi-hit game
Gurriel went 2-for-4 in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Gurriel returned to action after sitting out Saturday with minor elbow soreness. Sunday's two-hit outing gives the outfielder five consecutive games with multiple hits. He's 10-for-21 (.476) with nine singles and one home run during that stretch. Rotowire.com Monday, 5:00 am
    • Sitting Sunday
Robert is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against Detroit.

Advice: White Sox manager Pedro Grifol said Sunday that it's a scheduled day off for Robert as the 26-year-old outfielder eases his way back from his IL stint due to a hip flexor strain, per Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times. Since returning from the injured list June 4, Robert is slashing .180/.275/.459 with five home runs and seven RBI over 61 at-bats. Tommy Pham will start in center field while Andrew Benintendi and Gavin Sheets man the corners against Tigers right-hander Reese Olson. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:37 am

    • Luis Robert Jr. not in Sunday’s lineup vs. Tigers
Luis Robert Jr. is not in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the division-rival Tigers.

Advice: It appears to be a routine off day for Robert, who has made nine consecutive starts for Chicago dating back to June 13. The 26-year-old is batting .180 (11-for-61) with five homers and two steals in 17 games since returning earlier this month from a lengthy stint on the injured list. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:05 am

    • Lourdes Gurriel Jr. returns to lineup on Sunday
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (elbow) has returned to the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Phillies.

Advice: Gurriel is back in Arizona’s lineup to face Phillies southpaw Cristopher Sánchez during Sunday’s series finale following a brief one-game absence due to left elbow soreness. It’s a positive sign that he’s ready to return so quickly and it doesn’t sound like it’s going to be a lingering issue moving forward. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:02 am
    • Back in lineup Sunday
Gurriel (elbow) is starting in left field and batting third in Sunday's series finale against the Phillies, Jody Jackson of Bally Sports Arizona reports..

Advice: Gurriel returns to the lineup Sunday after sitting out of Saturday's 12-1 loss to Philadelphia. He left in the seventh inning of Friday's contest with left elbow soreness, but the injury wasn't severe enough to warrant an X-ray. For the month of June, Gurriel is slashing .333/.352/.536 with four home runs and 12 RBI over 69 at-bats. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:52 am
    • Sitting Saturday
Gurriel (elbow) isn't in Arizona's lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies.

Advice: Gurriel was removed from Friday's game due to a sore left elbow, and it is seemingly bothering him enough to keep him from playing Saturday, though the D-backs don't believe his injury to be anything too serious. Jake McCarthy will slide over to left field while Gurriel recovers, allowing Randal Grichuk to start in right field while batting sixth. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:51 am
