    • At least one more rehab game
Thomas (hamstring) will remain with Triple-A Reno and play another game Tuesday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Advice: After playing Tuesday, the team will reassess whether Thomas is ready to be activated. He sustained the injury during the fourth game of the season and missed three months because of it. Thomas was originally anticipated to return in early May, but his rehab was paused twice since then. Rotowire.com Today, 3:55 am

    • Two more homers Sunday
Hill went 2-for-4 with two homers, three RBI and a walk in Sunday's 11-2 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Hill opened up the scoring with a two-run blast in the second and later added on with a solo shot in the fifth. He's now started four of five games since returning to the majors Wednesday and has gone 5-for-14 with three homers and four RBI. Prior to this mini outburst, the 28-year-old had just four home runs in 289 career major league at-bats. Manager Bruce Bochy should continue to make way for Hill in the lineup as long as he's swinging a hot bat. Leody Taveras has been the odd man out the past two games in Hill's favor. • Swipes bag in win
Blanco went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Blanco started for the first time since June 23, playing in place of MJ Melendez in left field against lefty Logan Allen. While he's not getting many at-bats, Blanco's speed remains top notch -- he logged six steals while going 4-for-23 over 14 contests in June. The outfielder has a .237/.289/.316 slash line with 17 thefts, one home run, four RBI, 20 runs scored and three doubles across 84 plate appearances in a reserve role this year. • Derek Hill hits two homers in victory over Orioles
Derek Hill launched a pair of homers against the Orioles in Sunday’s rout.

Advice: Hill has started four of five games since returning to the majors Wednesday and gone 5-for-14 with three homers. That’s just one fewer homer than he had in 289 career major league at-bats coming into last week. It’s unlikely that he’ll make much of an impact in shallow leagues going forward, but since he can steal bases and has a clear path to playing time in the Texas outfield, he could help in deeper formats. • Brewers activating Mitchell, demoting Black
The Brewers will activate Garrett Mitchell and send down Tyler Black prior to Monday’s game in Colorado.

Advice: It seemed like Black would get more of a look this time around, but after four games in which he collected three hits and three walks, the Brewers glued him to the bench for the entire last week. Now they’ll be creating a logjam in the outfield by activating Mitchell while keeping Sal Frelick and Blake Perkins around. Jackson Chourio has turned into a fixture in right, so the Brewers will be choosing between Mitchell, Frelick, Perkins and Jake Bauers for two lineup spots each day. That’s not a great fantasy value situation for Mitchell, though his upside is very much present. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:35 pm
    • Jo Adell smacks two-run homer Sunday in loss
Jo Adell hammered a two-run homer on Sunday in the Angels’ loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Adell made things interesting in the ninth inning with a two-out homer off Tigers reliever Shelby Miller to bring the Halos within one run at the time, but their surreal comeback effort came up just short, and their six-game winning streak was also snapped in the process. The 25-year-old has cratered back to Earth in June after such a promising start to the year. He’s batting .139 (11-for-79) with two homers, one steal and 26 strikeouts since June 1. It’s not what you want. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:07 pm

    • Set to be activated Monday
Mitchell (finger) will join the Brewers in Denver on Monday and will be activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of the series opener against the Rockies, Adam McCalvy of MLB.comreports.

Advice: The 25-year-old has missed the first three months of the season due to a fractured finger, but he's ready to join the Brewers after a 14-game rehab assignment in the minor leagues. Milwaukee will now have a major logjam in the outfield, with Mitchell joining a group of Christian Yelich, Blake Perkins, Sal Frelick and Jackson Chourio. Frelick saw time at third base during spring training, but Joey Ortiz (neck) has played his way into the starting job during the first half. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:24 pm
    • On bench Sunday
Taveras is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: It's the second straight game on the bench for Taveras despite having a .782 OPS in his past 11 games. Derek Hill will take over in center field and bat seventh in the series finale at Baltimore. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:56 pm
    • Idle against lefty
Wisely is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Wisely will take a seat in favor of the righty-hitting Tyler Fitzgerald, who will cover second base while the Giants face off against southpaw James Paxton. Though he's still holding down a strong-side platoon role in the middle infield, Wisely's run as the Giants' primary leadoff man versus right-handed pitching has come to an end in the wake of LaMonte Wade's return from the injured list Friday. Wade had actually batted second both of the previous two days against right-handed pitching, but Jorge Soler moved into the leadoff spot while Wisely dropped to eighth in the order.
