Blanco went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Blanco started for the first time since June 23, playing in place of MJ Melendez in left field against lefty Logan Allen. While he's not getting many at-bats, Blanco's speed remains top notch -- he logged six steals while going 4-for-23 over 14 contests in June. The outfielder has a .237/.289/.316 slash line with 17 thefts, one home run, four RBI, 20 runs scored and three doubles across 84 plate appearances in a reserve role this year. • Henry Davis (concussion) sees rehab stint paused
Henry Davis is having his rehab stint put on hold as he attempts to return from a concussion.

Advice: Davis was 0-for-6 with five strikeouts since joining Double-A Altoona on Wednesday. Expectations are that he’ll be optioned to Triple-A once healthy. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:21 pm

    • Trey Cabbage doubles twice in win
Trey Cabbage went 2-for-5 with two doubles in the Astros’ 10-5 win over the Mets on Sunday.

Advice: Cabbage, trying to distinguish himself in the Astros’ right field jumble sans Kyle Tucker, was excellent Sunday. He had four hard-hit balls and two of them were hit harder than 111 MPH. His 11th inning double finally broke this game open and there’s an ample opportunity for Cabbage to claim some playing time while Tucker’s status remains murky. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:36 pm

    • Trevor Larnach slugs go-ahead homer to defeat M’s
Trevor Larnach belted a go-ahead two-run homer on Sunday, leading the Twins to a 5-3 victory over the Mariners.

Advice: Larnach crushed a 406-foot blast to right-center field off Mariners reliever Ryne Stanek in the eighth inning to put the Twins ahead for good on Sunday afternoon at T-Mobile Park. It was his eighth big fly of the season and first time he’s gone deep since June 16. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:32 pm
    • Jo Adell smacks two-run homer Sunday in loss
Jo Adell hammered a two-run homer on Sunday in the Angels’ loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Adell made things interesting in the ninth inning with a two-out homer off Tigers reliever Shelby Miller to bring the Halos within one run at the time, but their surreal comeback effort came up just short, and their six-game winning streak was also snapped in the process. The 25-year-old has cratered back to Earth in June after such a promising start to the year. He’s batting .139 (11-for-79) with two homers, one steal and 26 strikeouts since June 1. It’s not what you want. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:07 pm

    • Out of Sunday's lineup
Canzone is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Advice: Canzone will hit the bench Sunday for a second straight day after starting the previous six contests. He's gone 2-for-16 with 10 strikeouts since he collected four hits June 22 in Miami. Dylan Moore will start in left field Sunday, pushing Luke Raley to right. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:17 pm
    • Hitting bench Sunday
McKinstry is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Advice: With southpaw Tyler Anderson on the hill for the Angels, the lefty-hitting McKinstry will duck out of the lineup. Ryan Kreidler will step in for McKinstry at shortstop. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:12 pm

    • Reds send Peyton Burdick outright to Triple-A
Reds sent OF Peyton Burdick outright to Triple-A Louisville.

Advice: Burdick went unclaimed after being placed on the waiver wire. The outfielder will provide outfield depth in the minors for the remainder of 2024. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:05 pm
    • Retreating to bench vs. lefty
Wade is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: The platoon-happy Giants will hold out Wade and fellow lefty-hitting regulars Michael Conforto and Brett Wisely while the Dodgers send a southpaw (James Paxton) to the hill. David Villar will check in at first base in place of Wade, who went 2-for-9 with a double, a walk and a run scored in the first two games of the series following his return from a month-long stay on the injured list due to a hamstring strain.
