• Eloy Jiménez in lineup despite hamstring soreness
Eloy Jiménez is in the starting lineup as a DH on Monday after experiencing hamstring soreness in his return Sunday.

Advice: It’ll be a small miracle if Jiménez doesn’t wind up aggravating the hamstring bad enough to go back on the injured list, but we’ll see. He’s batting cleanup tonight. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:14 pm

  • Will be in Monday's lineup
Jimenez (hamstring) will be in the lineup for Monday's contest against the Dodgers, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: The White Sox haven't yet released their lineup for the series opener, but Jimenez has evidently received the green light to make a second consecutive start. Jimenez was noticeably gimpy while running the bases in Sunday's 11-2 loss to the Tigers in his first game back from a stint on the injured list due to a left hamstring strain. The apparent aggravation of the hamstring injury won't cause him to miss any starts, at least not yet. Certainly, Jimenez will remain a major injury risk as he attempts to play through some discomfort. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:11 am

  • Clubs seventh homer
Gordon went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's win over the Mariners.

Advice: The 28-year-old capped a four-run first inning for the Marlins with a shot to right field off Bryce Miller. The homer was Gordon's seventh of the season but his first in June, and even with Sunday's performance he's slashing just .205/.217/.341 on the month with a 1:11 BB:K in 16 games. • Playing time ticking up
McCormick went 0-for-4 with a strikeout Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: McCormick's line isn't notable, but Sunday marked his third start in Houston's last four games against a right-handed pitcher. He had previously been losing playing time against righties to Trey Cabbage and Mauricio Dubon, but the absence of Kyle Tucker (shin) and lack of production from Jake Meyers have opened up playing time for McCormick. He's shown modest improvement in his last five starts, going 4-for-14 with a pair of homers, three RBI and five runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:12 am

  • Two doubles, steal in win
Bader went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk, one stolen base and two runs scored in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Bader entered Sunday 0-for-9 over his last three games. He broke the drought with his fourth multi-hit effort over 17 contests in June. While he's hitting .255 (13-for-51) this month, eight of those knocks have gone for extra bases, and he's driven in 11 runs. The outfielder is slashing .268/.316/.388 with four home runs, 13 doubles, 27 RBI, 27 runs scored and 10 steals through 67 games this season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:27 pm

  • Dealing with soreness
Jimenez experienced hamstring soreness in his return to the lineup in Sunday's 11-2 loss to the Tigers, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. He started at designated hitter and went 1-for-4 with a run scored.

Advice: Jimenez made his return from the 10-day injured list Sunday after missing a month with a left hamstring strain, and he now appears to be dealing with a potential setback. The White Sox are set to launch a three-game series at home versus the Dodgers on Monday, and the 27-year-old's status is worth monitoring leading up the 8:10 p.m. ET opening pitch. • Eloy Jimenez experiences soreness in hamstring
Eloy Jimenez said after Sunday’s loss to the Tigers that he experienced renewed soreness in his left hamstring during Sunday’s game.

Advice: The 27-year-old slugger was activated from the injured list prior to Sunday’s game and hadn’t had any soreness in his hamstring while he was rehabbing in Arizona. It’s unclear if this is going to cause him to miss any additional time, or if it’s something that the oft-injured Jimenez will be able to play through. It’s definitely something that fantasy managers should keep an eye on. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:03 pm

  • Sitting against lefty
Larnach isn't in the Twins' lineup for Sunday's game versus the Athletics.

Advice: Larnach and his career .569 OPS against lefties will take a seat Sunday against left-handed starter Hogan Harris. Willi Castro will fill the opening in left field while Kyle Farmer starts at the keystone, batting eighth. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:22 am
  • Sitting Sunday
Meyers is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against Baltimore.

Advice: Meyers will get a rest Sunday after going 1-for-8 over the last two games, with his lone hit coming on a three-run home run Friday. Chas McCormick will start in center field Sunday and bat eighth against Orioles right-hander Albert Suarez. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:44 am
