      Advice: Cronenworth’s bases-loaded walk in the seventh inning was the difference in the Padres’ 2-1 victory over the Marlins.       Tyler Freeman went 3-for-5 and doubled twice as the Guardians’ leadoff man Monday against the Rockies.

      Advice: Freeman won’t be spending much time in the leadoff spot after Steven Kwan comes off the IL, but he looks like a lineup fixture right now.       Advice: Freeman is still hitting just .217 on the year, but he's made big strides by batting .302 (13-for-43) over his last 12 contests. He's hit leadoff during that entire span, though his time atop the order will likely end when Steven Kwan (hamstring) returns.       Gimenez went 2-for-4 with a hit-by-pitch one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

      Advice: Gimenez had a couple of hitless games last week, but he went 5-for-15 with five RBI and was plunked three times over the last four games. The second baseman is up to eight steals on 11 attempts this season, with Sunday's steal being his first since May 17.       Brice Turang homered and stole a base while helping the Brewers to a 6-3 win Saturday over the Red Sox.

      Advice: Turang hit his third homer of the season off Zack Kelly to extend Milwaukee’s lead to 6-2. The speedy infielder also swiped his 19th bag of the season in the victory.       Gonzales went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, four RBI and a run scored Friday against Atlanta.

      Advice: Gonzales has swung the bat well since being recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis, and he is currently in the midst of a five-game hitting streak. In that span, he's gone 8-for-20 with seven RBI and three runs scored. He's been locked into the fifth spot in the order and should be the Pirates' everyday second baseman for the foreseeable future.       Advice: Gonzales has been an RBI machine with 13 in 13 starts since being called up on May 10th along with five extra-base hits.
