    • Jake Cronenworth goes deep in victory over Braves
Jake Cronenworth smashed a two-run homer on Sunday night, helping to propel the Padres to a lopsided victory over the Braves.

Advice: Cronenworth victimized Braves’ starter Bryce Elder in the opening inning with his two-out, 392-foot (101.3 mph EV) two-run blast that gave the Padres the early lead. That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night. On the season, the versatile 30-year-old is now hitting .275/.344/.485 with eight long balls and 30 RBI. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:05 pm

    • Andy Pages homers in win over Reds
Andy Pages went 1-for-4 with a home run in a win over the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Many people were cutting bait on Pages after he went through an extended cold streak to start May, but it’s telling that the Dodgers opted to stick with him and demote James Outman to Triple-A instead. While Pages’ strikeouts have increased in May, he has always posted solid walk rates in the minors, so it was fair to assume he would adjust his approach to counter how pitchers started to attack him. The 105 mph home run off Hunter Greene is another reminder of the power that he possesses, and if the Dodgers are going to keep him in the starting lineup, he likely deserves to at least be on your bench. • Brent Rooker hits three-run homer in loss
Brent Rooker went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run on Sunday in a loss to the Royals.

Advice: Rooker’s homer was his 11th of the season and he scalded this one at 111.7 MPH off the bat. There’s still a lot of swing and miss in his game, but a barrel rate right around 15% and hitting third in the surging A’s lineup has turned him into one of the best run producers in the league early this season. • Jake Meyers has three hits in win over Brewers
Jake Meyers went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI in a win over the Brewers on Sunday.

Advice: Meyers has been solid since coming back from injury and is now slashing .302/.368/.522 on the season. Even with Chas McCormick coming off the IL soon, there’s no guarantee that Meyers will be pushed to the bench. He plays good defense in center field and has been performing better than McCormick so far in the young season. The outfield could be a bit of a logjam in the future for the Astros. • Turang has three hits, SB vs Astros
Brice Turang went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI, and a steal in a loss to the Astros.

Advice: Turang had five solid at-bats on Sunday with two hard-hit outs as well. The 24-year-old is now up to 18 stolen bases on the year and has seen an uptick in fantasy value as he’s been leading off for Milwaukee. So far he’s been one of the better waiver wire claims of the year and there’s no reason to believe that will change any time soon. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:15 pm

    • Josh Rojas finishes hitless in third straight game
Josh Rojas went hitless in a third straight game Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: He’s in a 3-for-26 slump over his last seven games, and he hasn’t had an extra-base hit since May 5. It’s unfortunate for the Mariners, but if Rojas had to slump, he’s done so at a time when it wouldn’t affect his playing time, what with Jorge Polanco and J.P. Crawford both hurt. It doesn’t seem like Rojas will cease being a fixture versus righties anytime soon. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:54 pm

    • Remains out Sunday
Hoerner (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates, Andy Martinez of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Advice: Make it six straight absences for Hoerner, who continues to nurse a sore left hamstring. He was still hoping to avoid the injured list as of Friday, but it's reasonable to think Hoerner to the IL could be the move to accommodate the return of Dansby Swanson (knee) on Tuesday. Nick Madrigal has been serving as the Cubs' primary second baseman in Hoerner's absence. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:40 am

    • Kwan (hamstring) could begin rehab assignment soon
Guardians general manager Chris Antonetti told reporters Sunday that the hope is that Steven Kwan (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment in the next 7-10 days.

Advice: Kwan was able to take batting practice Friday and has reportedly made steady progress from the hamstring strain that has sidelined him since the middle of May. The outfielder will likely need to play a handful of MiLB games, but then could be back hitting at the top of the Cleveland lineup around the start of June. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:39 am

    • Nico Hoerner (hamstring) remains out Sunday
Nico Hoerner (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Pirates.

Advice: Hoerner is going to miss a sixth straight game while recovering from tightness in his left hamstring. The 27-year-old is considered day-to-day, but a trip to the injured list can’t completely be ruled out. Nick Madrigal is the starting second baseman and will hit seventh against the Pirates on Sunday. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:36 am
