    • Converts on sixth save
Scott earned the save Wednesday against Milwaukee, allowing one hit and no walks across a scoreless inning with one strikeout.

Advice: Scott is now 6-for-7 on save chances this season and has added four tallies in the win column. The 29-year-old has been charged with at least one earned run in just two of his 21 appearances, owning a 1.71 ERA with a 22:18 K:BB across 21.0 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:52 pm
    • Drives in go-ahead run
Rodriguez went 1-for-3 with a walk and one RBI in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Mets.

Advice: Rodriguez went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in his major-league debut Tuesday. He was in the lineup again Wednesday and delivered his first hit, an RBI single, in the seventh inning to put the Guardians ahead 4-3. The outfield prospect slashed .276/.389/.449 with seven homers and 28 RBI over 43 games at Triple-A Columbus prior to his call-up. Rodriguez has started the last two games in right field, pushing Estevan Florial and Will Brennan to left field. The Guardians' outfield remains crowded, but Rodriguez at least has a chance to make an impression before Steven Kwan (hamstring) returns. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:48 pm
    • Slugs 11th homer
Raleigh went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Raleigh leads all major-league catchers with 11 homers this season, though he hadn't hit one out since May 11. This was his only hit over 10 at-bats across the last three games after a stretch in which he went 9-for-30 in an eight-game span. Raleigh is up to a .219/.299/.458 slash line with 28 RBI, 24 runs scored, four doubles and no stolen bases over 174 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:33 pm
    • Allows five runs in loss
Steele (0-2) took the loss against Atlanta on Wednesday, allowing five runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five over 6.1 innings.

Advice: Steele made short work of the first six batters he faced in the contest before giving up a leadoff single to Michael Harris to open the third, followed by a two-run shot off the bat of Adam Duvall. The lefty then appeared to settle in over the next three frames, but again found himself in trouble after allowing three of the first four batters to reach in the seventh. He would end up being charged with another three runs in the inning, with two coming home after he was relieved by Jose Cuas. Steele has now given up four or more runs in three consecutive starts and is still looking for his first win of the season. On a positive note, Thursday also marked the first time this season in which he's gotten through six innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:15 pm
    • Sparks rally Wednesday
Schneider went 1-for-4 with a walk, two RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Wednesday's 9-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Schneider's two-run single sparked a seven-run rally for the Blue Jays in the second inning. The second baseman is up to three steals on the year, all of which have come since May 5. He's added .246/.345/.451 slash line with five home runs, 19 RBI, 20 runs scored and 10 doubles across 142 plate appearances. Schneider has hit leadoff in five straight games, with four of those games against a right-handed starting pitcher. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:54 pm
    • Merrill Kelly heading for follow-up MRI exam
Merrill Kelly is scheduled to undergo a follow-up MRI exam on his injured shoulder this week to see how he is progressing.

Advice: Kelly has been shelved since mid-April due to a right shoulder strain. Hopefully after this week’s exam, we’ll at least get some sort of timeline on how long it’ll be before we see him on a big league mound again. The 35-year-old hurler had registered a 2.19 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and a 21/6 K/BB ratio over 24 2/3 innings through his first four starts. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:41 pm
    • Cal Raleigh tags three-run homer in loss
Cal Raleigh went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run on Wednesday in a loss to the Yankees.

Advice: The Orioles offense was quiet all night besides Raleigh’s blast. He golfed a changeup from Luke Weaver, which has been one of the best individual pitches in baseball this season, just barely over the right-field fence for his 11th long ball of the season. It would’ve been a homer in fewer than half of the league’s stadiums, but this was the only one that mattered. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:12 pm
    • Justin Steele surrenders five runs to Braves in loss
Justin Steele allowed five runs with five strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings in a loss to the Braves on Wednesday.

Advice: Steele had retired the first six batters before Michael Harris II led off the third inning with a base hit. Adam Duvall followed with a two-run homer to put the Braves on the board. Steele pitched into the seventh, leaving at 93 pitches with a run in, two runners on, and one out. Both inherited runners would come in to score. He struck out five on the day. The 28-year-old left-hander will take a 5.68 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and a 23/6 K/BB ratio across 25 1/3 innings into a start against the Brewers in Milwaukee on Monday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:05 pm
    • Scheduled for MRI
Manager Torey Lovullo said Wednesday that Kelly will undergo an MRI later this week to see how his strained right shoulder is progressing, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Advice: Kelly's shoulder has kept him out of action since April 23, though he may be able to begin a throwing program in the near future if his MRI results come back clean. If the 35-year-old righty is cleared to begin throwing, a more defined return timeline may emerge, although he isn't eligible to return to Arizona's rotation until June 22.
