    • Luis Robert Jr. getting a night off on Wednesday
Luis Robert Jr. is not in the White Sox’ starting lineup for Wednesday evening’s tilt against the Mariners.

Advice: The White Sox have been careful as they ease their 26-year-old superstar back into action after missing nearly two months with a hip injury. He’ll presumably be available off the bench in this one. On the season, he’s slashing just .182/.237/.491 to go along with five homers, eight RBI and one swipe in his first 14 games. • On base four times Tuesday
Carroll went 3-for-4 with a triple, a double, a walk, an RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 9-4 win over the Angels.

Advice: Carroll began his night with an RBI triple in the second and later came around to score. He then doubled his next time up in the fourth and would walk and cross home once more in the fifth. Carroll's been dialed in at the plate as of late. Over his last five games, he's tallied nine hits and four walks while not striking out a single time. The mini surge has lifted his slash line to .213/.300/.309 with 15 extra-base hits, 21 RBI, 35 runs and a 29:52 BB:K over 283 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:03 am

    • Corbin Carroll goes 3-for-4 in D-backs’ victory
Corbin Carroll went 3-for-4 with a triple, a double and a walk versus the Angels on Tuesday.

Advice: Carroll has nine hits, four walks and zero strikeouts in his last five games, boosting his OBP from .278 to .300. He’s still a long way from where he needs to be, but things are getting better. Rotoworld Tuesday, 11:49 pm

    • Belts homer in loss
Robert went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk Monday in a loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Robert broke a scoreless tie in the sixth inning with a two-run blast to left field. It was his third homer in six games since returning June 4 from a nearly two-month absence due to a hip injury. Robert has only one hit aside from the trio of long balls since his return, and he's batting just .167 (4-for-24) during that span. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:15 pm
    • Swipes another bag Sunday
Carroll went 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Padres.

Advice: Carroll tallied his second multi-hit game as well as his second stolen base this month after nabbing second in the eighth. He now has six hits and has reached base a total of nine times over his last four games. The 23-year-old still has a poor season slash line of .204/.291/.290 with two homers, 20 RBI, 33 runs and a 28:52 BB:K in 278 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:22 am

    • Sitting amid slump
Adell is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Advice: Adell started the previous seven games but will take a seat Sunday after going 1-for-21 with nine strikeouts during that span. Kevin Pillar will man right field and bat fifth in the series finale versus Houston. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:33 am

    • On bench Sunday
Marte is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

Advice: Marte was scratched from Wednesday's lineup against the Nationals due to a right knee issue, but the 35-year-old outfielder was able to make the trip to London. He started in Saturday's 7-2 loss, going 2-for-4 with an RBI double in the first inning. With Marte beginning Sunday's game in the dugout, the lefty-hitting DJ Stewart will start in right field and bat fifth against Phillies right-hander Taijuan Walker. • Grabs steal in loss
Adell went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Adell is now 0-for-11 with two walks over his last four games. Over a longer span, he's gone just 3-for-53 with two walks and 24 strikeouts across his last 16 contests, though that brutal slump hasn't prevented him from seeing consistent playing time in right field. The outfielder is at a poor .190/.254/.429 slash line with nine steals, 11 home runs, 27 RBI, 26 runs scored, five doubles and a triple over 56 games. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:02 pm

    • Two hits, stolen base in loss
Bellinger went 2-for-5 with a run and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Reds.

Advice: Bellinger reached on a two-out single in the first inning, and he then stole second and came around to score on a Dansby Swanson double. It was just Bellinger's third stolen base of the season after he swiped a career-best 20 bags last season. The 28-year-old is heating up at the dish with seven multi-hit efforts over his last 14 games, and he's accounted for all three of his steals over that stretch. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:57 pm
