    • Grabs 16th save
Diaz earned the save in Tuesday's 2-1 win over Pittsburgh, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Diaz made quick work of the middle of the Pirates' order Tuesday, logging his 16th save of the year. The right-hander has now converted his last nine save opportunities despite allowing three runs (two earned) over his prior three innings. Overall, Diaz sports a 5.27 ERA with a 1.50 WHIP and 28:19 K:BB across 27.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:38 pm
    • Sharp in hard-luck loss
Falter (3-5) took the loss Tuesday against Cincinnati, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks over seven innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Santiago Espinal's two-run homer in the fifth inning accounted for the only runs against Falter on Tuesday, though it proved to be enough to stick the left-hander with the loss in a 2-1 pitcher's duel. Still, it was a nice bounce-back effort from Falter, who lasted just four innings in each of his previous two starts, allowing eight runs in that span. His ERA now sits at 3.74 on the year with a 1.12 WHIP and 52:21 K:BB across 79.1 innings. Falter's currently in line for a rematch with the Reds early next week in his next outing. • Jansen picks up 13th save in win over Blue Jays
Kenley Jansen pitched a scoreless ninth in Tuesday’s win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Jansen has now picked up saves in back-to-back days and has recorded four saves in the month of June. The hard-throwing righty has allowed one run in his last 6 1/3 innings pitched while striking out eight batters to just one walk. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:48 pm
    • Alexis Díaz earns 16th save on Tuesday
Alexis Díaz pitched a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a 2-1 win over the Pirates on Tuesday.

Advice: The save was Díaz’s 16th of the season and fifth in the month of June. It was a nice rebound from his tough outing against the Brewers last time out and Díaz has now thrown a scoreless inning in eight of his last 11 appearances. The bigger key for the 27-year-old was that he didn’t walk a batter in this outing, only the second time in June he’s accomplished that. He needs to keep the walks down if he’s going to continue having success at the end of games. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:15 pm
    • Ke’Bryan Hayes homers in loss
Ke’Bryan Hayes went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Reds.

Advice: Hayes was the only one to get to Nick Lodolo on the day, hitting a 382-foot shot for his third home run on the season. The 27-year-old has not had the breakout season many were hoping for, but he is hitting .250 with two home runs and four steals in 14 games in June, so he has been putting together decent fantasy value. He makes a lot of contact and is likely headed to his third straight double-digit stolen base season, but the power may never develop with any consistency. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:09 pm
    • Falter takes tough luck loss on Tuesday
Bailey Falter allowed two runs on seven hits in seven innings in a loss to the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: Falter’s only real mistake was a two-run home run to Santiago Espinal in the fifth inning. He didn’t miss many bats with just three strikeouts on a 16 percent whiff rate, but he pounded the strike zone with all four pitches to post a 29 percent CSW. Falter is not an overpowering pitcher, but he can mix and match his pitch mix well, which has led to a 3.74 ERA on the season. He’ll see these same Reds next week but in Cincinnati, which makes it tough to recommend starting him. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:02 pm
    • Burleson has two hits, HR in loss
Alec Burleson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored in a loss to the Marlins on Tuesday.

Advice: It was Burleson’s 10th home run of the season to go along with 25 RBIs. It’s also his fifth home run in June alone. The 25-year-old continues to make a lot of contact while hitting near the top of the Cardinal’s lineup and with the power starting to tick up, he deserves to be in fantasy lineups in almost all league types. • Irvin gives up four runs in loss to Diamondbacks
Jake Irvin allowed four earned runs on eight hits over five innings while striking out two in Tuesday’s loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Irvin allowed the first three batters he faced to reach base, but it was the two-run homer by Ketel Marte that put him in a hole early. Irvin would go on to pitch two scoreless innings before surrendering two more runs in the fifth, which would be his final inning. It was just the second time this year that Irvin has allowed four or more runs in an outing, as he’s been one of the core members of a Nationals rotation that has surprised in the first half of the season. Irvin will look to get back on track in his next start, which is scheduled for Sunday against the Rockies. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:15 pm

    • Scratched with illness
Winn was scratched from the Cardinals' lineup ahead of Tuesday's game versus Miami due to illness, Lynn Worthy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Advice: Winn was originally in line to start at shortstop Tuesday, but his absence will move Brandon Crawford from third base to short instead. Brendan Donovan will cover the hot corner as a result, moving Alec Burleson into left field while Dylan Carlson steps in to man right field, batting eighth. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 2:46 pm
