    • Picks up ninth steal
Henderson went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Thursday's 6-3 loss to Atlanta.

Advice: Henderson has two steals over 12 games in June, and he's gone 16-for-48 (.333) with three home runs and six doubles in that span. The shortstop has hit safely in 14 of his last 15 contests as he continues to provide all-around excellence from the top of the Orioles' lineup. He's at a .273/.372/.592 slash line with 21 home runs, nine steals, 47 RBI and 55 runs scored through 67 games overall. Rotowire.com Friday, 12:07 am
    • Andrew Vaughn homers, plates game-winner in 10th
Andrew Vaughn homered and drove in the game-winning run Thursday against the Mariners.

Advice: Vaughn and Luis Robert Jr. went back-to-back in the third inning to give the White Sox a 2-0 lead. He also hit into a fielder’s choice in the 10th that score what ended up being the game-winning run. The first baseman has now homered eight times in 2024, and he’s started to swing the bat at a much better level in June with a slash of .361/.395/.667 over the month. Rotoworld Thursday, 9:23 pm
    • J-Rod hits game-tying homer in ninth vs. White Sox
Julio Rodríguez hit a game-tying homer in the ninth inning against the White Sox, but the Mariners fell to Chicago in extra-innings.

Advice: With the Mariners trailing 2-1, J-Rod obliterated a Michael Kopech fastball to right-center field that tied the game at 2-2. The outfielder now has six homers on the season; a disappointing total for a player who many (justifiably) thought would be among the league leaders in 2024. Anyone who saw his swing tonight knows that he’s capable of — and likely going to — doing much more going forward. Rotoworld Thursday, 9:23 pm
    • Diaz has two hits in win over Cubs Thursday
Yandy Diaz went 2-for-4 with an RBI against the Cubs on Thursday.

Advice: Diaz’ RBI single was the difference in the 3-2 Rays win. The defending batting champion in the American League is heating up at the plate. He’s now 17-for-50 (.340) in his last 12 games to get his average up to .260 on the season.

    • Sitting out Thursday
Alvarez is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest versus the Marlins.

Advice: Alvarez started at catcher in the first two games of the series after being activated from the 10-day injured list, but he will sit out the finale. Luis Torrens will do the catching for Luis Severino. Rotowire.com Thursday, 12:09 pm
    • On base three more times in loss
Bleday went 2-for-4 with a walk and a run in a loss to the Padres on Wednesday.

Advice: Both of Bleday's hits were singles, but Wednesday marked his second straight game reaching safely on three occasions after a brief 0-for-13 slump that had encompassed his previous three contests. Bleday has pushed his on-base percentage back up to a solid .326 with his frequent trips on the basepaths the last two nights, and he's also carrying a 19.6 percent strikeout rate. • Slow start to June
Holliday is hitting .182 with one home run, one steal, 12 walks and 12 strikeouts in 10 June games for Triple-A Norfolk.

Advice: Holliday is slashing .238/.407/.415 with five home runs, four steals, a 22.2 percent walk rate and a 24.3 percent strikeout rate in 40 games since being optioned to Triple-A on April 26. The Orioles could summon the 20-year-old middle infielder at any point, but his return to the big leagues in the coming weeks is more of a possibility than an inevitability. Due to the fact Holliday spent 16 days on the active roster in April, Baltimore would need to keep him in the minors until Sept. 1 while limiting him to 130 or fewer total at-bats in order to preserve his rookie eligibility heading into 2025. • Initiates rehab assignment Tuesday
Marte (suspension) began a rehab assignment Tuesday and is a combined 3-for-10 with a double and two runs scored in two games for Triple-A Louisville.

Advice: Marte, who is in the final two weeks of an 80-game suspension after testing positive for a banned substance (Boldenone), served at third base Tuesday then designated hitter Wednesday and played all nine innings in each contest. He's eligible to return from suspension June 27. Marte slashed .316/.366/.456 in 35 games and 123 plate appearances in the big leagues last season and is expected to be the team's primary third baseman once ready. Rotowire.com Thursday, 5:23 am

    • Activated, optioned to Triple-A
The Yankees reinstated Dominguez (elbow) from the 60-day injured list Wednesday and optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Advice: Dominguez has been on the injured list all season while recovering from a Tommy John procedure he underwent in September, and though he now appears to have made a full recovery, he will remain in Triple-A for now. The 21-year-old outfield prospect has played in 20 total games with three of New York's minor-league affiliates, slashing .368/.415/.658 with six home runs and 13 RBI in 82 plate appearances. If he continues at his current pace, a return to the majors is likely to come at some point, though he would have to compete against Alex Verdugo, Aaron Judge and Juan Soto for playing time in the Yankees' outfield. Jon Berti (calf) was transferred to the 60-day injured list in a corresponding move. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 2:50 pm
