      Advice: Frias moved his rehab assignment from rookie ball to Triple-A on Tuesday, and he will officially remain with the Aces now that he's made a full recovery from the shoulder inflammation that sent him onto the IL in April. The 26-year-old right-hander allowed seven earned runs in 6.1 innings during his time in the majors before getting injured, and he would likely need to show major improvement at Reno before the D-backs consider bringing him back into their bullpen.       Gallegos (shoulder) is scheduled to throw in a rehab outing with Triple-A Memphis on Thursday night and will have another on Sunday, Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

      Advice: After completing the two rehab appearances, Gallegos's next step will be to throw in back-to-back outings. The righty landed on the 15-day injured list in early May due to a right shoulder impingement. In his first rehab game May 31, he pitched a perfect inning with a strikeout. Prior to the injury, the veteran reliever had allowed 12 runs in nine innings and now the Cardinals will look to make sure he is sharp after a handful of rehab outings before being activated.       Manager Brian Snitker said Thursday that Minter (hip) has been playing catch with no issues and will pitch an inning at some point next week, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

      Advice: The team has not yet determined whether or not Minter's next step will come during live batting practice or in a minor-league rehab game.
