      Salvador Perez was removed from Friday’s game against the Dodgers with right knee discomfort.

      Advice: Perez exited Friday’s contest in the eighth inning and told reporters afterwards that he felt a tweak in his right knee earlier in the game when he stood up quickly to catch a high fastball from Royals ace Cole Ragans. The 34-year-old ironman will presumably head for some additional testing and imaging to determine the severity of the issue if he’s not feeling better this weekend.       Estevez struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Friday's 8-6 win over the Giants.

      Advice: The Giants made a late push for a comeback, but Estevez shut the door with a 17-pitch ninth inning. He's up to 11 saves this season, five of which have come over his last seven appearances. The closer has added a 3.86 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, 20:3 K:BB and three blown saves through 21 innings. The Angels don't often have leads to protect, but Estevez should continue to close as long as he's with the team, though as a pending free agent, he will be a trade target over the next six weeks.       Heaney (2-8) allowed three runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four over 4.2 innings to take the loss versus the Mariners on Friday.

      Advice: Heaney gave up a two-run home run to Mitch Garver in the first inning, his fifth homer allowed over his last seven appearances. This was the shortest of Heaney's three starts in June so far. The veteran southpaw is at a 4.19 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 62:18 K:BB through 66.2 innings across 14 appearances (13 starts) this season. It's unclear how he'll be utilized going forward -- he may lose his place in the rotation soon since Jon Gray returned from a groin injury last weekend and Max Scherzer (back/arm) could be back by the end of the month. Jose Urena, who pitched 3.1 scoreless innings of relief Friday, could also be a short-term option in the rotation if the Rangers grow tired of Heaney's inconsistency.       Advice: It didn’t look like Estévez was going to be necessary Friday night, but an 8-1 cushion turned into an 8-6 game, so the 31-year-old was called upon to convert his 11th save. The 31-year-old didn’t allow a hit, struck out one hitter and threw 12-of-17 pitches in the strike zone. Estévez should continue to see save chances as long as he’s a member of the Angels, but keep in mind a trade — very possible with Los Angels going nowhere — would likely make him a set-up hurler; severely limiting his fantasy upside.       Andrew Heaney gave up three runs while working 4 2/3 innings against the Mariners on Friday.

      Advice: Heaney was handed a 2-0 cushion in the first, but it didn’t last long as he gave up a two-run blast to Mitch Garver. The southpaw gave up six hits and three walks, and he struck out four in a mediocre at best effort.       Jose Altuve went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and a run scored on Friday evening, helping to lead the Astros past the Tigers.

      Advice: Altuve got a rally started with a leadoff double off of Tarik Skubal to begin the sixth inning. He then scored the game’s first run on Alex Bregman’s ensuing RBI triple. Altuve also drew a walk in the ballgame, reaching base safely in three of his four plate appearances. With his two-hit attack, the 34-year-old second baseman is now slashing an outstanding .298/.349/.453 to go along with 10 homers, 26 RBI and nine stolen bases on the season.       Atlanta will place Harris (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list Saturday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Harris had to make an early exit from Friday's game versus Tampa Bay due to tightness in his left hamstring, and the team has already deemed his injury severe enough to warrant a trip to the IL. The 23-year-old outfielder will receive an MRI on his hamstring Saturday, at which point the team will have a better idea of how long he will be out for.
