    Jake Cronenworth hit a walkoff homer off Joel Payamps as the Padres edged the Brewers 7-6 on Thursday.

    Advice: Payamps couldn’t possibly have made a worse 3-2 pitch, and Cronenworth deposited the breaking ball 355 feet down the right field line for his 11th homer of the year.     Alec Bohm went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer on Monday in the Phillies’ lopsided win over the Padres.

    Advice: Bohm gave Philadelphia a commanding six-run advantage with a fifth-inning blast off Padres starter Randy Vásquez. It was his seventh long ball of the year and just the second time he’s gone deep since the start of the month.
