      Advice: The 26-year-old right-hander was in peak form, whiffing Adam Duvall with a 100.6 mph cutter to end the game. Doval blew his last save chance Friday, though, and consistency has been an issue for him all year -- through 33.2 innings, he's posted a 4.28 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 44:22 K:BB, a significant step backward from his ratios the prior two seasons.       Advice: The Phillies saw a 6-1 lead quickly get cut to 6-4 after Seiya Suzuki hit a three-run shot off Jose Ruiz in the ninth inning, so Philadelphia brought in Hoffman to make sure things didn't get out of hand.       Alonso went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Nationals in 10 innings.

      Advice: Alonso capped off the Mets' five-run 10th inning with a two-run blast off Robert Garcia, the first baseman's 18th home run of the campaign. He's riding a six-game hit streak, batting 8-for-24 (.333) with six runs and five RBI during that span.       Teoscar Hernández went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI on Tuesday night, propelling the Dodgers to a walk-off 6-5 victory over the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: Hernández got the party started in the first inning with a two-out RBI double off of Ryne Nelson. He also drove in the game’s second run with a fielder’s choice in the third inning. The best was yet to come though, as he dropped a two-out RBI single into left field off of Paul Sewald in the ninth inning, delivering a come-from-behind walk-off victory and sending the Dodgers’ home faithful into a frenzy. This was his first multi-hit effort in seven contests -- he'd gone just 2-for-23 (.087) over his previous six games. Yelich also singled during the team’s two-run rally in the ninth inning.
