Puk (0-6) took the loss Monday against the Padres, giving up an unearned run on one hit over two-thirds of an inning.

Advice: Entering a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the seventh, Puk appeared to have gotten out of the inning when he coaxed a grounder from Fernando Tatis for a potential double play, but Tim Anderson couldn't come up with the ball -- the first of two errors in the frame for the Marlins' shortstop. Puk's move back to the bullpen hasn't helped him turn his season around -- through five relief appearances and four innings, he has a 6.75 ERA and a 1:2 K:BB. Rotowire.com Today, 7:20 am

    • Locks down save Sunday
Scott picked up the save Sunday in a 3-1 win over the Diamondbacks, throwing a perfect ninth while striking out a batter.

Advice: Scott faced no trouble from the Diamondback hitters Sunday. He sent them down in order on 15 pitches and struck out Eugenio Suarez to end the game. Scott has not allowed an earned run since April 14 and finished May with three wins, three saves and a hold in nine appearances. He's up to seven saves on the year now and carries a 1.64 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 23:18 K:BB in 22 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:00 am

    • Tanner Scott slams door on Diamondbacks in ninth
Tanner Scott slammed the door on the Diamondbacks in the ninth inning on Sunday, working a scoreless frame to protect a two-run lead and earn his seventh save of the season.

Advice: Scott made it look awfully easy in this one, getting Randal Grichuk on a pop up to third base, Gabriel Moreno on a ground ball to shortstop and Eugenio Suarez on strikes to end it. The 29-year-old southpaw needed just 15 pitches (10 strikes) to get the job done. He now boasts a 1.64 ERA to go along with his seven saves on the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:51 pm

    • Picks up ninth save
Doval gave up a run on two hits and a walk while striking out one in the ninth inning Friday to record his ninth save of the season in an 8-7 win over the Mets.

Advice: The Giants scored six of their runs in the eighth and ninth innings to create the save chance, but Doval very nearly squandered it following a leadoff double by pinch hitter DJ Stewart and a fielding error by Marco Luciano. It was the first earned run the right-hander has allowed since May 8 at Coors Field, and on the season Doval carries a 3.05 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 27:15 K:BB through 20.2 innings while converting nine of 10 save opportunities. • Camilo Doval hangs on for ninth save
Camilo Doval worked around two hits and an error to earn the save on Friday over the Mets. He struck out one.

Advice: This was a treacherous ninth inning for Doval. The Mets rallied on him and then Marco Luciano butchered a tailor-made double play that would’ve ended the game. Then he intentionally walked Brandon Nimmo before punching out J.D. Martinez with a runner on third and one out. Then Matt Chapman made a herculean bare-handed play to end the game. He remains a super steady closing option despite this near collapse. Rotoworld Friday, 7:28 pm

    • Earns fourth save
Hoffman picked up the save in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Rangers, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Jose Alvarado pitched the eighth inning Thursday, leaving the ninth to Hoffman who'd set down the Rangers in order for his fourth save of the year. The Phillies continue to utilize a high-leverage approach to their bullpen, which has resulted in save opportunities for Hoffman when Alvarado is needed earlier in games. The 31-year-old right-hander has been excellent this year, posting a 1.25 ERA with a 1.02 WHIP and 29:7 K:BB across 21.2 innings. Rotowire.com Thursday, 3:03 pm

    • Jeff Hoffman locks down fourth save against Texas
Jeff Hoffman was able to throw a scoreless ninth to procure a save Thursday against the Rangers.

Advice: It’s the fourth save of the season for Hoffman. The 31-year-old has been outstanding in his relief role with the Phillies, as the scoreless frame lowers his ERA to 1.25. It’s never been a question about stuff with Hoffman, and he’s been able to apply his arsenal in the bullpen quite nicely. The only issue from a fantasy perspective is a lack of save chances. • Converts on sixth save
Scott earned the save Wednesday against Milwaukee, allowing one hit and no walks across a scoreless inning with one strikeout.

Advice: Scott is now 6-for-7 on save chances this season and has added four tallies in the win column. The 29-year-old has been charged with at least one earned run in just two of his 21 appearances, owning a 1.71 ERA with a 22:18 K:BB across 21.0 innings. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:52 pm

    • Tanner Scott earns save against Brewers
Tanner Scott worked a scoreless ninth inning on Wednesday against the Brewers. He allowed one hit and struck out one.

Advice: It’s comforting to see Scott get through an inning without walking a batter and this marked three out of four appearances where he hasn’t walked any. He’s thrown at least 55% fastballs in each of those four outings and that might be his adjustment to push that walk rate down. The Marlins don’t win many games, but Scott once again looks to firmly be their closer. Rotoworld Wednesday, 5:52 pm
