    • Out for Game 1
Winker (back) is out of the lineup for Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the White Sox, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: Winker was removed from Sunday's game with back spasms and wasn't part of the Nationals' lineup for Monday's matchup against the ChiSox, which was postponed. While it's possible Winker could return for the nightcap Tuesday, it's more likely he'll receive the full day off. Nick Senzel will handle DH duties during Game 1. • Steals in four straight
Doyle went 0-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored Monday against the Padres.

Advice: Doyle was unable to extend a modest five-game hitting streak, but he was still impactful by tallying his eighth stolen base of the year. He's also stolen a base in each of his last four games, displaying a significant increase in aggressiveness on the basepaths. Doyle is hitting .283 with 25 runs scored across 160 plate appearances on the season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:47 am
    • Belts grand slam
Bauers went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in Monday's loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Bauers cut Pittsburgh's lead to 7-6 with his eighth-inning grand slam but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback. He now has four home runs this season and two in his last four appearances. He's gone 8-for-22 (.364) with nine RBI so far in May. Bauers owns a .244/.326/.476 slash line with 10 extra-base hits and 21 RBI this season. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:19 pm

    • Contreras records three hits Monday
William Contreras went 3-for-5 with a run scored in the Brewers’ loss to the Pirates on Monday.

Advice: All three of Contreras’ hits were singles. He continues to hit as his average is up to .354 on the season. Contreras’ .426 BABIP this season is high even for him, a career .348 BABIP hitter. He’s a hitting machine right now, but this level of batting average shouldn’t be expected to continue for the rest of the season. Rotoworld Monday, 8:11 pm
    • Fans seven in win
Keller (4-3) allowed eight hits over six shutout frames Monday, striking out seven and earning a win over Milwaukee.

Advice: Keller faced traffic on the bases throughout the night but was able to dance around danger and keep the Brewers scoreless. He forced 13 whiffs -- his second-best total so far this season -- and threw 71 of 100 pitches for strikes. Of those 13, seven came via the fastball, which averaged 95.2 mph. Keller has seemingly turned a corner after a shaky opening month; he's allowed just one run while posting a 12:1 K:BB over 15 frames in his last two starts. Keller will carry a 3.93 ERA into his next start, which is lined up to be on the road against the Cubs this weekend. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:09 pm

    • Keller picks up fourth win Monday
Mitch Keller tossed six shutout innings, recorded seven strikeouts and picked up the win in the Pirates’ 8-6 victory over the Brewers on Monday.

Advice: The win was Keller’s fourth of the season. He allowed eight hits, but walked none in the outing. Keller lowered his ERA to 3.93 on the season. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cubs in Chicago this weekend.

    • Exits with toe injury
Morel left Monday's game against Atlanta after fouling a ball off his left foot, and he's been diagnosed with a left toe injury, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: Morel is reportedly dealing with bumps and bruises, per Lee, so this appears to be a day-to-day type of injury. The Cubs should know more about his availability for the rest of the week after re-evaluating him Tuesday. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:25 pm

    • Christopher Morel exits with toe bruise
Christopher Morel exited Monday’s game because of a toe injury, the result of fouling a ball off his foot.

Advice: No word yet on whether he’ll be getting X-rays. Morel is also playing through some knee soreness in his other leg, so maybe he’ll DH if he plays Tuesday. Rotoworld Monday, 7:21 pm

    • Nationals-White Sox postponed
Williams and the Nationals won't play Monday against the White Sox after the game was postponed due to inclement weather in Chicago, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Tuesday. Williams' next start will simply be pushed back a day to one half of the twin bill, and the White Sox will do the same with their scheduled starter for Monday, Chris Flexen. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:45 pm
