• Slugs seventh homer
Lowe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, scored twice and drew a walk during the Rays' win over Kansas City on Tuesday.

Advice: Lowe's seventh-inning walk enabled him to score on an Isaac Paredes double immediately afterward, and his homer in the ninth frame gave Tampa Bay some additional insurance as the team cruised to a 5-1 victory. The 29-year-old has now hit seven home runs on the year, two of which have come in his last two games. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:41 am

  • Another multi-hit game
Altuve went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored during Tuesday's 7-6 loss to Toronto.

Advice: For the sixth time in seven games, Altuve generated multiple hits, tagging the Blue Jays for three singles Tuesday. During that stretch, Altuve is 13-for-31 (.419) with a pair of home runs and three stolen bases. He ranks top five in homers, batting average and stolen bases among second basemen this season. • Clubs third homer
Schneemann went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Schneemann has gone 10-for-41 (.244) with three homers and nine RBI over his last 13 games. The utility man is at a .262/.356/.508 slash line over his first 73 plate appearances in the majors, which has been enough to keep him in the lineup fairly regularly. He's seen most of his recent playing time between center field and right field, offering a left-handed-hitting option to complement righties Tyler Freeman and Jhonkensy Noel. • Brandon Lowe goes deep as Rays defeat Royals
Brandon Lowe socked his seventh dinger of the season on Tuesday night, helping to power the Rays to a 5-1 victory over the Royals in Kansas City.

Advice: Lowe drew a two-out walk off of Chris Stratton in the seventh inning then raced around to score on a two-run double by Isaac Paredes. He then capped off the scoring in the ballgame as he walloped a 433-foot (108.0 mph EV) solo shot off of Nick Anderson to lead off the ninth inning. It’s been a rough season at the dish for Lowe in-between stints on the injured list — slashing .220/.322/.455 with seven homers, 24 RBI and one stolen base in 143 plate appearances. • Richie Palacios collects three hits in win Tuesday
Richie Palacios went 3-for-4 with a double, stolen base and an RBI as the Rays defeated the Royals in Kansas City.

Advice: The speedy 27-year-old outfielder reached on an infield single off of Brady Singer in the second inning, advanced to third on a double by Jose Siri and scampered home with the game’s first run on a wild pitch. Palacios also drove in a run with a two-out RBI double off of John Schreiber in the sixth inning. With his three-hit night, Palacios is now slashing .251/.354/.348 with four homers, 18 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 239 plate appearances on the season. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:49 pm

  • Scores three runs in return
Drury went 1-for-2 with two walks and three runs scored in Tuesday's 7-5 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Drury missed nine straight games due to an illness before appearing off the bench Sunday versus the Tigers. This was his first start since June 21, and he played the full game at second base. The infielder has struggled this year, slashing .175/.246/.237 with one home run, six RBI, 12 runs scored and no stolen bases over 126 plate appearances. Drury will likely occupy a starting role at the keystone going forward, though Luis Guillorme is also in the mix there. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:43 pm

  • Logs steal in win
Schuemann went 1-for-2 with a stolen base in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Angels.

Advice: Schuemann has a steal in two of his last three games, though he's hitting a meager .149 (7-for-47) over his last 15 contests. He's maintained a starting role at shortstop, though his .227/.316/.315 slash line for the year is far from impressive. He's added three home runs, 15 RBI, 26 runs scored and six thefts across 63 games. Armando Alvarez is Schuemann's biggest threat for playing time until Darell Hernaiz (ankle) can return, which is likely to be after the All-Star break. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:35 pm

  • Brandon Drury scores three times in loss to A’s
Brandon Drury singled, drew a pair of walks and scored three runs as the Angels fell to the Athletics on Tuesday evening in Oakland.

Advice: The 31-year-old infielder led off the fifth inning with a single off of Mitch Spence, then scored the Halos’ first run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Nolan Schanuel. Drury also led off the seventh inning with a walk and scored on a two-run single by Schanuel. He led off the ninth inning with a walk as well and was once again plated by Schanuel — this time with an RBI double. Drury finished the night 1-for-2 officially and is now hitting .175/.246/.237 with a homer and six RBI through his first 126 plate appearances on the year. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:59 pm

  • Homers in win
Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two total runs scored in a 7-6 win over the White Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: Freeman singled and scored in the fifth inning and added a two-run home run in the sixth. The 25-year-old slashed a miserable .167/.268/.264 in June but got off on the right foot in July with his first home run since June 9. On the season, he is slashing .211/.306/.343 with seven home runs, 30 RBI, 41 runs scored and eight steals over 291 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:10 pm
