      Arenado went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Reds.

      Advice: Arenado went 11 games without a homer prior to Tuesday. In that span, he hit a paltry .222 (10-for-45). The third baseman took Andrew Abbott deep in the fourth inning to give the Cardinals all the offense they needed in the win. Arenado is still having a rough year overall with four homers, 25 RBI, 21 runs scored, 10 doubles and a .257/.311/.366 slash line over 52 contests.     • Ryan Pressly takes fourth blown save, second loss
      Ryan Pressly took his fourth blown save and second loss after giving up three runs — two earned — in the eighth inning Tuesday against the Mariners.

      Advice: Pressly’s velocity is down some, but his peripherals remain strong. Nevertheless, he’s sporting a 5.31 ERA at the moment. He’s given up half as many hits (27) in 20 1/3 innings this year that he did in 65 1/3 innings last season (54).     • Royce Lewis (quad) plays 3B on Tuesday at AAA
      Royce Lewis (quad) played seven innings at third base on Tuesday for Triple-A St. Paul.

      Advice: Lewis went 0-for-3 at the dish and made his first appearance in the field since kicking off a minor league rehab assignment last week. The 24-year-old third baseman will presumably require at least a handful of additional tune-up contests to get back up to speed before returning to Minnesota.       Abrams went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Monday's win over Atlanta.

      Advice: The shortstop launched a solo shot off Charlie Morton in the second inning, giving the Nationals an early 5-0 lead. Abrams has gone yard in back-to-back contests to snap a 22-game power drought, but he hasn't crawled out of his May swoon quite yet -- he hasn't stolen a base in 19 straight games, and he's slashing just .221/.237/.338 over that stretch with a 1:18 BB:K.       Bichette went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's win over the White Sox.

      Advice: He took Nick Nastrini deep in the fourth inning, one of three long balls for Toronto on the day. Bichette is batting .424 (14-for-33) over the last eight games, boosting his slash line on the season to .247/.297/.366 with four homers, four steals, 18 runs and 23 RBI through 50 contests.       Schwarber went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and a stolen base in Monday's loss to San Francisco.

      Advice: Schwarber put the Phillies on the board in the third inning with a two-run shot off reigning NL Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell. It was his fourth homer against a lefty this season, and he's now batting a lofty .333 (27-for-71) against southpaw hurlers.       Bassitt (5-6) prematurely left Monday's game against the White Sox with neck spasms, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports. He allowed five hits and zero walks while striking out seven over five scoreless innings, earning the win.

      Advice: It was reported after the game that Bassitt was questionable to start due to the injury, but he toughed it out and pitched five dominant innings. It is encouraging that the 36-year-old was able to play through the injury, but the severity is still unknown.     • Schwarber has home run, steal against Giants Monday
      Kyle Schwarber went 2-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a two-run home run against the Giants on Monday.



      Advice: The home run was Schwarber’s 10th of the season and the stolen base was his third. He’s been heating up lately as he’s 10-for-25 (.385) over his last seven games. The home run was Schwarber’s first since May 6th. His power has been down this season, but he’s been known to hit home runs in bunches. Maybe this could be the start of a hot streak for Schwarber.

    • Abrams hits ninth home run Monday
      CJ Abrams went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a sacrifice fly against the Braves on Monday.



      Advice: The Nationals scored four runs in the first inning and Abrams’ solo shot in the second inning made the score 5-0. He hit 18 home runs in 151 games last year and is halfway to that mark in only 49 games so far this season. Fantasy managers didn’t draft Abrams for his power, though. While he stole 47 bases last year, he has just eight steals so far this year.
