      Advice: Yamamoto was able to rebound after being not at his best last Monday versus the Giants. The rookie right-hander put together his fifth quality start in his last six outings, though the win was briefly endangered after Elieser Hernandez gave up a pair of solo home runs in the eighth inning. Yamamoto is at a 3.17 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 61:11 K:BB through 54 innings over 10 starts this season.       Nola (6-2) picked up the win Sunday against the Nationals, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits and three walks across seven innings. He struck out five.

      Advice: Nola completed at least seven innings for the fifth time in his last seven starts -- including a complete game shutout in his last appearance. Although the 31-year-old generated a quality start, he struggled with the long ball, as he allowed a two-run homer to Eddie Rosario in the fourth and a solo home run to Jesse Winker in the fifth.       Keller (5-3) allowed two runs on two hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings to earn the win Sunday over the Cubs.

      Advice: It wasn't as dominant an outing as his six scoreless innings versus the Brewers on Monday, but it was still Keller's third straight quality start. He's allowed three runs over 21 innings across three starts in May. The strong pitching has him down to a 3.84 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP and 54:19 K:BB through 61 innings over 10 starts this season.       Aaron Nola lasted seven innings and allowed three runs Sunday in beating the Nationals.

    • Mitch Keller posts quality start in win over Cubs
      Mitch Keller posted a quality start in Sunday’s victory over the Cubs, allowing two runs on just two hits over six frames.

      Advice: The right-hander walked three and struck out three batters on the afternoon. All of the damage one against him came on sacrifice flies — one by Seiya Suzuki in the third inning and another off the bat of Christopher Morel in the sixth. Keller got 10 swings and misses on 83 pitches on the afternoon — seven of those on his heater — while registering a CSW of 30 percent. Now 5-3 on the season, he’ll tote a 3.84 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and a 54/19 K/BB ratio (61 innings) into Saturday’s tough matchup against the Braves. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:07 pm

      Bassitt (3-6) took the loss Friday, giving up three runs on five hits and three walks over 5.2 innings as the Blue Jays were downed 4-3 by the Rays. He struck out five.

      Advice: The veteran right-hander blanked Tampa Bay for five innings, but the wheels came off in the sixth as an Isaac Paredes walk was sandwiched between a Randy Arozarena double and a Richie Palacios homer. Bassitt left the game after 103 pitches (65 strikes), falling short of his third straight quality start. While he's been pitching a little better in May, he'll take a 5.03 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 45:23 K:BB through 48.1 innings on the season into his next outing, which lines up to come at home next week against the White Sox.       Chris Bassitt pitched 5 ⅔ innings and allowed three earned runs on Friday in a loss to the Rays. He struck out five and walked three.

      Advice: Bassitt just can’t seem to get on track this season. He unraveled in the sixth inning, the third time through the Rays’ order, with Richie Palacios’ two-run homer chasing him.       Ryan (2-3) took the loss Thursday against the Yankees, allowing four runs on six hits and a walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out five.

      Advice: Ryan surrendered more than three earned runs for the first time all year, as the Yankees matched that total in the first inning alone. The right-hander's struggles resulted in a shortened outing, and he failed to complete six frames for the first time since April 19.       Joe Ryan was charged with four runs over 5 1/3 innings on Thursday in a loss to the Yankees.

      Advice: Ryan surrendered six hits, including a leadoff homer to Anthony Volpe, and was simply out-dueled by Yankees starter Clarke Schmidt, who reeled off eight shutout frames against Minnesota’s lineup. He finished with five strikeouts and only handed out one free pass. He’ll bring a solid 3.57 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 58/7 K/BB ratio across 53 innings (nine starts) into a road tilt on Tuesday against the Nationals. Rotoworld Thursday, 12:30 pm
