  • Trea Turner (hamstring) might return on Sunday
Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters Trea Turner (hamstring) could potentially return on Sunday.

Advice: Turner continued running at full-speed on Saturday and could potentially be activated for Sunday’s series finale against the Orioles. It’s possible they’ll elect to wait until Monday’s series opener against the Padres, but it certainly appears that the 30-year-old superstar shortstop isn’t far off from returning for Philadelphia. • Tosses bullpen session
Senga (shoulder/triceps) threw a two-inning bullpen session Saturday, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

Advice: Senga was able to throw more than 30 pitches in the session and he's expected to throw a shorter one next week. The right-hander has been slowly working his way back from a posterior right capsule strain and then a subsequent triceps injury and he's yet to make his season debut. Senga has already been ruled out for the first half of the season, but if he can build off of Saturday's session next week, he'll remain on track to return relatively soon following the All-Star break. • Aiming for return in late June
Contreras (forearm) is targeting a return in late June, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports.

Advice: Contreras has resumed taking batting practice and hopes to be cleared to begin a rehab assignment early next week. If that happens, a return sometime during the Cardinals' June 22-30 homestand is likely. It would be at least a couple weeks quicker than he was initially expected back following surgery in early May to repair a fractured forearm. Rotowire.com Today, 11:04 am
  • Absent from lineup
Lopez is not in the lineup for Saturday's game versus the Nationals.

Advice: Lopez has been operating as the Marlins' primary second baseman, but his production has slowed in June with just a .477 OPS. He'll get a day off to regroup while Vidal Brujan handles the keystone. Rotowire.com Today, 10:58 am

  • Day off versus left-hander
Chisholm is not in the lineup for Saturday's contest against the Nationals.

  • Expected to throw off mound soon
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Saturday that Williams (back) is expected to be cleared to throw off a mound soon, Jack Stern of Brewer Fanatic reports.

Advice: Murphy also added that Williams remains on track to return just after the All-Star break, although that would seem to be a tentative timetable given that the reliever has yet to resume throwing off a mound. Williams is working his way back from multiple stress fractures in his back. Trevor Megill has operated as the Brewers' primary closer with Williams on the shelf. Rotowire.com Today, 10:52 am

  • Cade Cavalli (elbow) completes sim game Saturday
Cade Cavalli (elbow) faced hitters on Saturday in a two-inning simulated game.

Advice: Cavalli appears to be in a bit of a holding pattern as he nears the final stages of his rehabilitation process from Tommy John surgery. The 25-year-old righty figures to need some additional rehab outings in the upper minors before he’s ready to jump back into Washington’s starting rotation mix. It’s encouraging that he’s getting through all of his throwing sessions without any issues. Rotoworld Today, 10:42 am
