  • Mark Vientos has two home runs in win
Mark Vientos went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in a 9-7 win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Vientos’ power is legit and he now has nine home runs on the year and six in 19 games in June. Vientos is also hitting 19-for-69 (.275) in June while taking over the Mets’ starting third base role. With the Mets offense surging and Vientos showing a better approach to go along with his plus power, he should be added in all formats where he may still be available. Rotoworld 13 minutes ago

  • Bryce Harper crushes 20th homer in loss to Tigers
Bryce Harper went 2-for-4 with his 20th home run of the season on Tuesday in the Phillies’ loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Harper broke up a potential shutout with a ninth-inning blast against Tigers stopper Jason Foley with the Phillies trailing by four runs at the time. It may have been a garbage-time round-tripper, but fantasy managers certainly won’t complain. The 31-year-old fantasy superstar has gone deep five times over his last six contests and is up to 20 big flies on the year already. If he stays healthy, Harper has a realistic shot at surpassing his previous career-high mark (42) in the home run department, which he set all the way back in 2015. Rotoworld Today, 5:51 pm
  • Getting Tuesday off
Flores isn't in the Giants' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cubs, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Flores will take a seat Tuesday after going 0-for-4 with an RBI and a walk during Monday's victory. David Villar will take over at first base and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Today, 3:39 pm
  • Sitting against lefty
Black isn't in the Brewers' lineup Tuesday against the Rangers.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Black will take a seat Tuesday as the Rangers prepare to send left-hander Andrew Heaney to the mound. Rhys Hoskins will start at first base while Gary Sanchez works as Milwaukee's designated hitter. Rotowire.com Today, 3:14 pm

  • Set for season-ending wrist surgery
Encarnacion-Strand will undergo surgery on his right wrist July 11, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The recovery is expected to take three months, effectively ending Encarnacion-Strand's 2024 season. He initially went on the injured list back in early May with a right ulnar styloid fracture, but subsequent testing revealed ligament damage, which he'll need surgery to address. Encarnacion-Strand's season will conclude with him having slashed only .190/.220/.293 with two home runs in 29 games. Rotowire.com Today, 1:28 pm
  • CES set to undergo season-ending hand surgery
Christian Encarnacion-Strand will undergo season-ending right hand surgery on July 11.

Advice: Encarnacion-Strand has been out since late April after suffering ligament damage in his right hand when he was hit by a pitch. The 24-year-old slugger’s decision to undergo surgery to repair a ulnar styloid fracture on the inside of his hand near his wrist, will keep him sidelined until early October, and is basically going to end his season. He can be safely dropped in all re-draft formats, but is obviously worth stashing in all keeper and dynasty league formats. It’s unclear how he’ll rebound next year after ostensibly missing an entire season due to injury. Rotoworld Today, 1:22 pm
  • Playing time dwindling
Montero is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Houston.

Advice: It marks the fourth straight game that Montero has been out of the lineup, although he did make one pinch-hitting appearance over that stretch. The recent emergence of Michael Toglia has put the squeeze on Montero's playing time, and his .581 OPS hasn't helped, either. Rotowire.com Today, 11:42 am
  • Racks up three hits in win
Donovan went 3-for-4 with one RBI in Monday's 4-3 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Donovan has been dialed in for much of June. He's hit safely in 17 of his last 18 games, going 26-for-71 (.366) with seven extra-base hits and 14 RBI in that span. The 27-year-old is up to a .269/.333/.420 slash line with eight home runs, 39 RBI, 35 runs scored, 17 doubles, one triple and one stolen base over 72 contests. While he's mostly lost out on leadoff opportunities to Masyn Winn, Donovan is still hitting well deeper in the lineup. Rotowire.com Today, 9:51 am

  • Drives in three in win
Steer went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI and a run scored in Monday's 11-5 win over Pittsburgh.

Advice: Steer sparked the Reds' offense with a two-run double in the fourth inning, then singled in a run as part of the team's four-run sixth. Following a 13-game stretch in which he had just three RBI, Steer has knocked in five over the last three games. He leads Cincinnati with 48 RBI, which ranks 20th overall in MLB.
