• Austin Riley homers against in win
Austin Riley went 1-for-2 with a home run and two walks in a win over the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: That’s now homers in back-to-back games for Riley, who might be starting to wake up a bit. There wasn’t much under the hood that looked “off” with Riley this year, but he was being pitched differently and not being given much he could turn on, which had hurt his pull power. Perhaps it took him a while to adjust his approach to combat that, or perhaps it’s just two good games. Only time will tell, but it seems smart to bet on Riley. Rotoworld 21 minutes ago

  • Josh Rojas homers, reaches four times in victory
Josh Rojas went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBI in a win over the Rangers for the Mariners on Saturday.

Advice: On top of that damage, Rojas also drew two walks. The infielder has been scuffling as of late after a red-hot start to the season, but this was a big day from the 29-year-old. His homer was a solo shot to give Seattle a 5-1 lead, and he singled in two runs in the eighth. Rojas is hitting .263/.336/.395 thus far with four homers and 15 RBI. Rotoworld 32 minutes ago

  • Homers in loss
Sosa went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 6-2 loss to the Orioles on Saturday.

Advice: Sosa gave the Phillies an early 2-0 lead when he homered off Grayson Rodriguez in the second inning. Sosa hit .306 in May with three home runs, but he has gone just 8-for-37 with one long ball in June. According to Matt Gelb of The Athletic, Trea Turner's return is looming, which means Sosa will likely return to a bench role in the coming days. Rotowire.com Today, 5:54 pm

  • Rehab assignment starting
Polanco (hamstring) is playing in a rehab game Saturday at High-A Everett, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Advice: Polanco will remain at Everett for a few games before continuing his rehab at Triple-A Tacoma. The second baseman has been ramping up over the past week and is feeling good enough to begin playing games Saturday. Polanco is on track for a late June return after straining his right hamstring May 26. Rotowire.com Today, 5:18 pm

  • Colt Keith has four hits, HR in win
Colt Keith went 4-for-6 with a solo home run in a win over the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Keith is now 6-for-9 in the first two games of the series. The home run was his third of the season and accounted for his 20th RBI. While those numbers aren’t anything to write home about, Keith has some legitimate power at the minor league level. After getting hot in May, Keith was banged up in a collision with his own teammate and went cold to start June, but perhaps his bat is heating back up again. Rotoworld Today, 5:17 pm

  • Late addition to lineup
Montero will play first base and bat cleanup Saturday against Pittsburgh, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.

Advice: Brenton Doyle (knee) was scratched from the lineup Saturday, pushing Jake Cave to center field and Michael Toglia into right in order to open up a spot at first base for Montero. Montero has just two hits in his last 23 at-bats and has a .546 OPS on the year. Rotowire.com Today, 5:03 pm

  • Jorge Polanco (hamstring) begins rehab assignment
Jorge Polanco (hamstring) will begin a minor league rehab assignment at High-A Everett on Saturday.

Advice: The 30-year-old second baseman is only expected to need a couple of games to get his timing back before he’s cleared to return to the Mariners’ lineup. Expect him back early next week, which will severely impact the playing time for Ryan Bliss, who has been filling in at second base over the past few weeks. Rotoworld Today, 4:30 pm

  • Not close to returning
Muncy (oblique) is at least a week away from swinging a bat and doesn't have a timeline for return, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Muncy's recovery from a right oblique strain has been unexpectedly slow, and he doesn't seem particularly close to returning. The 33-year-old hasn't swung a bat in a few weeks and won't be cleared for swings for at least another week, all but ruling out a June return. Recently acquired Cavan Biggio and Enrique Hernandez should handle most of the work at third base until Muncy returns. Rotowire.com Today, 3:45 pm

  • Edmundo Sosa goes yard in loss to Orioles
Edmundo Sosa went 1-for-4 with a solo homer against the Orioles on Saturday.

Advice: Sosa led off the second inning with a solo shot off Grayson Rodriguez for the second of two runs the Phillies would score on the day. The 28-year-old infielder is hitting a solid .280/.343/.512 with five homers, 24 runs scored, 19 RBI, and two steals across 138 plate appearances as he fills in for Trea Turner at shortstop.
