      Advice: It’s worth noting that Abrams remained in during Friday’s contest after jamming his shoulder attempting to make a play defensively. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern, but the Nationals clearly don’t want to take any chances here and are holding him out for precautionary reasons. The 23-year-old emerging star has been in a rut the last few days, going hitless (0-for-14) with eight strikeouts over his last three games.       The Dodgers have Mookie Betts at second base and Miguel Rojas at shortstop in Wednesday’s game against the Mets.

      Advice: The shortstop launched a solo shot off Charlie Morton in the second inning, giving the Nationals an early 5-0 lead. Abrams has gone yard in back-to-back contests to snap a 22-game power drought, but he hasn't crawled out of his May swoon quite yet -- he hasn't stolen a base in 19 straight games, and he's slashing just .221/.237/.338 over that stretch with a 1:18 BB:K.       CJ Abrams went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a sacrifice fly against the Braves on Monday.



      Advice: The Nationals scored four runs in the first inning and Abrams’ solo shot in the second inning made the score 5-0. He hit 18 home runs in 151 games last year and is halfway to that mark in only 49 games so far this season. Fantasy managers didn’t draft Abrams for his power, though. While he stole 47 bases last year, he has just eight steals so far this year.

      Abrams went 1-for-4 with a three run home run in Sunday's 9-5 loss to Seattle.

      Advice: Abrams broke out of a minor slump Sunday, slugging his first home run since April 29 and recording his first RBI since May 18. He has cooled off significantly in the month of May, slashing .209/.225/.256 with four RBI and eight runs scored.       Advice: Betts led the game off with a single, knocked an RBI double in the second inning and added another double in the fourth. He entered Friday in a small slump, going 4-for-22 (.182) over his previous six contests. Despite the skid, he's hitting .291 through 20 games this month.
