    • Day off Saturday
Marte is not in the lineup for Saturday's contest against the Padres.

Advice: Marte was in the lineup for each of the previous four tilts, but he will receive a day of rest Saturday. DJ Stewart is handling right field for the Mets in this one. Rotowire.com 54 minutes ago

    • Tallies ninth homer
Reynolds went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI on Friday against the Rockies.

Advice: Reynolds popped his ninth home run of the season in the first inning and also extended his hitting streak to 12 games. Though it was only his second long ball in that span, Reynolds has hit .340 with a .969 OPS to go along with eight RBI and six runs scored. Overall, he has turned in another solid season through 310 plate appearances, maintaining a .335 wOBA and 116 wRC+. Rotowire.com Today, 7:05 am

    • Notches first save of season
Dominguez struck out two in a perfect 11th inning Friday to record his first save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Jose Alvarado, Jeff Hoffman and Orion Kerkering had all pitched earlier in the night, but the Phillies' deep bullpen still had someone with closing experience available once they took the lead in the top of the 11th. Dominguez has been tagged with a run in only one of 14 appearances since the beginning of May, posting a 0.68 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB in 13.1 innings over that stretch, but he could still be shut out of consistent high-leverage work given the effectiveness of the other arms ahead of him in the packing order -- the right-hander has only one win, one save and one hold during that time. • Freddy Peralta surrenders six runs to Reds
Freddy Peralta was tagged for six runs in 5 1/3 innings by the Reds on Friday.

Advice: We sure do miss the Peralta of April. He gave up 10 hits tonight, which matches his total from both his first three starts and his second three starts. In fact. he had never before surrendered 10 hits in an outing. His velocity has held steady, and he got 16 missed swings tonight, but the Brewers couldn’t pick him up in this one. He’ll take a 4-4 record and a 4.38 ERA into his next start against the Angels. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:24 pm

    • Tagged with six runs
Peralta (4-4) yielded six runs on 10 hits and a walk over 5.1 innings Friday, striking out six and taking a loss against the Reds.

Advice: Peralta gave up two home runs in the loss, including a two-run shot by Jeimer Candelario in the fifth inning. He forced 16 whiffs Friday, marking the 12th time he's reached double digits this season. Peralta has posted a 7.90 ERA through three starts this month, bumping his season ERA up to 4.38 through 76 innings. He's now 1-4 since the start of May. Peralta's next start is lined up to be on the road against the Angels. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:55 pm

    • Seranthony Dominguez earns first save of season
Seranthony Dominguez pitched a scoreless 11th inning against the Orioles on Friday for his first save of the season. He struck out two and didn’t put anyone on base.

Advice: Dominguez shouldn’t be confused as a member of the Phillies’ closing committee despite earning this save as Jeff Hoffman, Matt Strahm, José Alvarado, and Orion Kerkering had already pitched in this one. Still, it was a positive sign to see him look so dominant in what’s been a trying season overall for the right-hander. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:52 pm
    • Jose Altuve doubles twice as Astros defeat Tigers
Jose Altuve went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and a run scored on Friday evening, helping to lead the Astros past the Tigers.

Advice: Altuve got a rally started with a leadoff double off of Tarik Skubal to begin the sixth inning. He then scored the game’s first run on Alex Bregman’s ensuing RBI triple. Altuve also drew a walk in the ballgame, reaching base safely in three of his four plate appearances. With his two-hit attack, the 34-year-old second baseman is now slashing an outstanding .298/.349/.453 to go along with 10 homers, 26 RBI and nine stolen bases on the season. • Will throw multiple bullpens
Minter (hip) will throw multiple bullpen sessions before Atlanta decides whether to send him out on a rehab assignment or activate him, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The initial feeling when Minter landed on the injured list with left hip inflammation late last month was that he would probably miss about the minimum amount of time. He's already been sidelined longer than that, although he hasn't suffered a setback. Minter boasts a 2.95 ERA and 23:6 K:BB over 21.1 frames this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:45 pm

    • Escapes jam for hold
Robertson allowed one hit, hit a batter and struck out three over a scoreless eighth inning Thursday, earning a hold in a 3-1 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Robertson put the first two batters he faced aboard, setting up a rematch with the top of the Dodgers' lineup after he had struck out Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman on Wednesday to preserve a Texas lead. Robertson proceeded to do the same exact thing Thursday. The veteran reliever has 14 holds this season to go with a 3.19 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 36.2 percent strikeout rate, his highest mark since 2017.
