      Luis Matos delivered a game-winning sac fly in the bottom of the 10th as the Giants bested the Phillies 1-0 on Tuesday.

      Advice: Matos was 0-for-3 in the contest before his fly to left entered the game. It’s hard to say if the Giants will keep both he and Heliot Ramos after Michael Conforto comes off the IL, something that should happen this weekend.       Advice: Rengifo did a good job of getting on base, and he was able to score after his singles in the first and eighth innings. The infielder has been locked in since returning from an illness May 17, going 15-for-42 (.357) over his last 10 contests.       Advice: Fry has a pair of three-hits games over his last nine contests, going 13-for-26 (.500) with four homers, three steals and 11 RBI in that span. The utility man is on another level lately, though he's been strong throughout the campaign with a .357/.492/.622 slash line, seven homers, 23 RBI, 26 runs scored and four steals over 128 plate appearances. He's started three straight games in left field, but that avenue into the lineup will close when Steven Kwan (hamstring) returns from the injured list.       David Fry went 3-for-3 and hit a three-run homer Tuesday against the Rockies.

      Advice: Fry wasn’t expected to make the Guardians out of spring training and then wasn’t slated to play against righties once he did make the team, but all he’s done so far is hit .357/.492/.622 with seven homers and four steals in 128 plate appearances.     • Jake Cronenworth goes 0-for-4 versus Marlins
      Jake Cronenworth went 0-for-4 on Tuesday, leaving him 12-for-56 in his last 15 games.

      Advice: Given his obvious decline in 2022 and ’23, Cronenworth was a very nice surprise to begin this year, batting .285/.349/.503 in his first 39 games.       Hector Neris blew his second save of the season in the Cubs’ win over the Brewers on Tuesday.

      Advice: Neris entered the game with a 1-0 lead and recorded two outs to open the bottom of the ninth. He then ran into trouble when he walked Christian Yelich, only to later balk and move Yelich into scoring position. Willy Adames would later single with two strikes to drive in Yelich and for the game into extras.       Jordan Westburg went 2-for-3 with two singles and two RBI in a loss to the Red Sox.

      Advice: Westburg drove both runs in on a 103.7 mph single in the first inning. He now has 34 RBI to go along with a .291/.351/.508 slash line. While the 25-year-old has cooled down a bit from his torrid start to the season and is pulling the ball far less than he was in April, he continues to produce, hitting .278 with three home runs in 24 games in May.       Gerrit Cole (elbow) will face hitters again on Thursday in a live batting practice session.

      Advice: It’ll be the third time that Cole faces hitters as he continues ramping up his progression towards a potential June return to New York’s starting rotation.       Wade was diagnosed with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain Tuesday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

      Advice: The Giants placed Wade on the injured list earlier Tuesday, but the team expects him to be sidelined for roughly a month now that the severity of his strain has been revealed.
