      Jones did not factor into the decision in Saturday's win against the Rockies. He allowed one hit and no walks while striking out 10 over seven scoreless innings.

      Advice: The 22-year-old right-hander bounced back from a rather modest showing his last time out, matching his career high with 10 strikeouts. Jones got 17 swings and misses on 96 pitches and touched 100 mph with his heater a couple times. While he has a losing record at 2-3, Jones is off to a historically great start to his career. He became the first pitcher in Pirates history with an outing consisting of seven shutout innings, one hit or fewer allowed, 10 strikeout and zero walks Saturday, and per MLB's Sarah Langs, Jones is the first pitcher since at least 1901 with 50-plus strikeouts and five or fewer walks in his first seven career starts.       Ruiz suffered a wrist injury on a diving catch in the sixth inning of Saturday's win over the Marlins and was removed from the game, MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Ruiz appeared to hurt his glove hand and remained down for a brief time following the catch, cradling his left wrist as he exited the field with team trainers.       Bryson Stott went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI on Saturday, powering the Phillies to a dominant 14-3 victory over the Giants.

      Advice: Stott delivered a pair of run-scoring hits in the first and second innings of this one as Philadelphia scored nine runs combined in those frames to open the contest. He also walked twice in the one-sided affair to reach base safely in four of his five plate appearances at a rain-soaked Citizens Bank Park. The 26-year-old second baseman hasn’t exactly come out of the gate on fire, but he holds a respectable .240/.330/.375 triple-slash line with three homers, 16 RBI and six steals through 30 games.       Esteury Ruiz was removed from Saturday night’s lopsided victory over the Marlins with a left wrist injury.

      Advice: The 25-year-old speedster suffered the injury while making a tremendous diving catch in left field.     • Jared Jones strikes out ten over seven scoreless
      Jared Jones tossed seven shutout innings with ten strikeouts in a no-decision against the Rockies on Saturday.

      Advice: There were some concerns over Jones’ velocity his last time out. He looked just fine on Saturday, shutting down the Rockies over seven innings. He was back up to 97.6 mph on the fastball, generating 17 whiffs to strike out ten batters. Jones allowed just one baserunner on the day, a double by Elias Díaz in the fifth inning. The 22-year-old right-hander will take an outstanding 2.63 ERA, 0.78 WHIP, and a 52/5 K/BB ratio across 41 innings into a start against the Cubs in Pittsburgh on Friday.     • Turner expects to miss six-plus weeks with injury
      Trea Turner told reporters that he expects to miss at least six weeks with his hamstring injury.

      Advice: Turner told reporters that anything prior to a six-week return would “be a win.” It’s a significant blow for both fantasy managers and the Phillies — and Turner himself, of course — as the shortstop was once again playing at an elite level.     • Out at least six weeks
      Turner (hamstring) said Saturday that he expects to miss at least six weeks with his left hamstring strain and that a return sooner than that "would be a win," Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Turner strained his left hamstring Friday against the Cubs, and he was placed on the 10-day IL a day later. It's a big blow for the Phillies, as Turner has been one of their most productive players at the plate this season with an .852 OPS, second on the team behind Alec Bohm. Six weeks would take Turner to a potential return for mid-June, though the star shortstop could be out until July depending on how he progresses in his rehab. Philadelphia will turn to Edmundo Sosa to be the primary shortstop with Turner on the shelf, and Bryson Stott could shift over from second base in platoon lineups against right-handed pitching.       Ohtani went 1-for-3 with a run, an RBI, two walks and two stolen bases Friday in a 4-3 extra-innings victory versus Atlanta.

      Advice: Ohtani's first theft came in the third inning, and it led to Los Angeles' first run, as Will Smith followed with a two-out RBI single. It looked like Ohtani would be picked off in the eighth frame, but Matt Olson mishandled the throw to first base, allowing the Japanese superstar to make to second base safely. Ohtani later came up with a huge hit in the bottom of the 10th, stroking a one-out single to center field to plate the tying run after Atlanta had scored in the top of the frame. Ohtani continues to put up big numbers for the Dodgers and for his fantasy managers, as he's slashing .336/.405/.612 with seven homers, 20 RBI, 26 runs and seven steals (in seven attempts) through 153 plate appearances.
