      Gausman (6-6) picked up the win Tuesday in a 9-4 victory over the Red Sox, giving up four runs (three earned) on five hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out five.

      Advice: A Vladimir Guerrero error let Gausman squeak out his seventh quality start of the season, but the rest of the damage off the right-hander came on a Rafael Devers solo shot in the second inning and a two-run blast over the Green Monster by Tyler O'Neill in the sixth. Gausman has been taken deep eight times in his last five outings, a stretch in which he's stumbled to a 4.45 ERA despite a 1.11 WHIP and 28:6 K:BB through 32.1 innings.     • Gausman has quality start against Red Sox
      Kevin Gausman allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits in six innings in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

      Advice: Gausman struck out five and walked one on the day but did allow two home runs, which accounted for all but one of the runs scored against him. The 33-year-old’s fastball averaged 94 mph on the day, which is up from his season average and he got seven whiffs on 24 swings on that pitch. However, he was only able to get 10 whiffs overall on the day for a 20 percent whiff rate and 25 percent CSW. He had just a 38 percent zone rate on the splitter, and he’s been struggling to get whiffs on that pitch over the last few starts.     • Fans eight in loss
      Webb (6-6) took the loss Sunday against St. Louis, allowing four runs on nine hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out eight.

      Advice: Webb struggled early, yielding two doubles and two singles as part of a three-run first inning before surrendering another run in the second frame. While Webb settled in afterward, the damage was already done, as the Giants failed to generate a hit until the seventh inning. The 27-year-old has completed at least six innings in nine consecutive starts and matched his season high in strikeouts Sunday. He's one of five players with 100 innings pitched this season and owns a 3.16 ERA and a 91:23 K:BB. Webb is scheduled for a home start against the Dodgers next weekend.       Finnegan picked up the save Sunday against Colorado, allowing two hits with two strikeouts across a scoreless ninth inning.

      Advice: After blowing the save Saturday night on a pitch clock violation with the bases loaded -- the first time that's happened since MLB introduced the pitch clock -- Finnegan was able to convert for his 22nd save of the campaign Sunday. However, he flirted with danger as Ryan McMahon and Brendan Rodgers hit back-to-back singles to start the final half-inning. Finnegan kept the game-tying run at second and retired three straight to close out the contest. The 32-year-old trails only Ryan Helsley and Emmanuel Clase for the most saves in baseball.       Myers (5-2) allowed one run on five hits and struck out three without walking a batter over five innings to earn the win Sunday over the Padres.

      Advice: Myers is undefeated in June, going 4-0 with just two runs allowed over 25.1 innings across four starts. The 25-year-old right-hander has a 3.12 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 45:16 K:BB over 52 innings through 11 appearances (10 starts) this season. Sunday was the first time since May 31 that he didn't pitch past the fifth inning -- he exited with 78 pitches (56 strikes). He's tentatively lined up to make his next start at home versus the Cubs.     • Kyle Finnegan escapes with 22nd save
      Kyle Finnegan recorded his 22nd save in a 2-1 win over the Rockies on Sunday.

      Advice: It was not without drama, which is par for the course with Finnegan’s saves. He allowed back-to-back singles to start the inning, but then got Nolan Jones to strike out, Hunter Goodman to fly out, and caught Michael Toglia looking to end the game. Finnegan has a 2.23 ERA on the season but could lose a significant amount of fantasy value if he gets traded at the deadline.     • Tobias Myers dominates again in win over Padres
      Tobias Myers picked up his fourth consecutive victory on Sunday, limiting the Padres to just one run on five hits over his five innings of work.

      Advice: The 25-year-old hurler struck out three batters on the afternoon and didn’t issue a free pass. The lone tally against him came on a two-out RBI single by Luis Arraez in the fifth inning, then Myers punched out Jurickson Profar to end that threat. He got seven swings and misses on 78 pitches in the ballgame, registering a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling as he carries a 3.12 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and a 45/16 K/BB ratio (52 innings) into Saturday’s showdown against the Cubs in Milwaukee.       Logan Webb allowed four runs on nine hits in six innings in a loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

      Advice: The game started off on the wrong foot for Webb, who allowed three runs on four hits in the first inning and then allowed another run on two more hits in the second. Over his final four innings, he didn’t allow a run, while giving up just three hits and striking out four. Webb may be more of an SP2 in fantasy baseball than the ace many wanted him to be coming into this year, but he’s a rock-solid starter who will carry a 3.16 ERA into a tough start against the Dodgers next weekend.     • Nestor Cortes takes tough luck no decision
      Nestor Cortes allowed three runs on five hits in seven innings in a loss to the Yankees on Sunday.

      Advice: Cortes also struck out seven and walked nobody on the day. At times, he looked more electric than Max Fried, and it was Cortes who had more whiffs, getting 17 swings and misses on 49 swings for a 35 percent whiff rate and 36 percent CSW. Unfortunately, he allowed a solo home run to Jarred Kelenic and got himself into trouble in the fifth innings on three hits and a sac fly. It was more good than bad for Cortes on Sunday, and he’ll now take a 3.40 ERA into a solid start against the Blue Jays next weekend. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:31 pm
