    • On base five times in win
Rutschman went 3-for-5 with a double, two walks and three runs scored in Thursday's 17-5 win over the Yankees.

Advice: This was the catcher's second multi-hit effort over his last nine games, a span in which he's gone a meager 7-for-35 (.200). Rutschman started the year hot at the plate, but his struggles haven't cost him much playing time and he remains productive. He's hitting .293 with an .814 OPS, 14 home runs, 53 RBI, 39 runs scored and one stolen base over 70 contests this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:17 pm

    • William Contreras back in lineup Tuesday vs. Halos
William Contreras is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Angels.

Advice: Contreras is back at designated hitter following a one-game absence for precautionary reasons following a scary-looking home-plate collision over the weekend. The positive development here for the Brewers, and fantasy managers, is that the 26-year-old backstop has been cleared of a potential concussion. Rotoworld Tuesday, 3:45 pm
    • Back in lineup Tuesday
Contreras (head) is serving as the Brewers' designated hitter and batting second Tuesday against the Angels.

Advice: Contreras had to sit out Monday's contest after he was hit in the head during a play at the plate Sunday. He now seems to be in good enough shape to play again, though it will be Gary Sanchez behind the dish catching for Tobias Myers. Contreras still holds a .305 batting average on the season, but he has struggled to find consistent success recently, slashing just .232/.246/.321 since the start of June. • William Contreras (head) available off bench
William Contreras is available to come off the bench Monday after leaving Sunday’s game with a head injury.

Advice: Contreras hasn’t had any concussion symptoms today, so the Brewers are confident that he’s going to be OK. They did have Gary Sánchez start behind the plate tonight, but Contreras is available to hit and play defense. Rotoworld Monday, 5:20 pm
    • Available off bench
Contreras (head) is available to pinch-hit or enter the game defensively off the bench Monday versus the Angels, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Contreras will be forced to miss his second contest of the season after taking a shot to the head while applying the tag at home plate to finish Sunday's 5-4 win over the Reds, but manager Pat Murphy said Monday that the catcher "is going to be fine." Contreras appears to have avoided any significant injury, which is music to the ears of fantasy managers who have reaped the benefits of his stellar play in 2024. Rotowire.com Monday, 5:09 pm
    • Not starting Monday
Contreras (head) is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Angels.

Advice: Contreras was evaluated for concussion following Sunday's 5-4 win over the Reds after his head collided with Stuart Fairchild on a tag at home plate in the ninth inning. With Contreras out for the series opener Monday, Gary Sanchez will start behind home plate and bat eighth against Halos right-hander Jose Soriano. Rotowire.com Monday, 4:01 pm
    • Goes deep Sunday
Rutschman went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Rutschman entered Sunday just 1-for-17 over his last five games, an unusual slump for the catcher. He took Zack Wheeler deep in the third inning to extend the Orioles' lead to 4-0, and that was ultimately all they needed in the win. Rutschman is up to a .289/.333/.473 slash line with 14 homers, 53 RBI, 36 runs scored, one stolen base and nine doubles through 67 contests. Rotowire.com Jun 16, 10:46 pm

    • William Contreras being evaluated for concussion
Brewers’ manager Pat Murphy said after Sunday’s victory over the Reds that William Contreras is being evaluated for a possible concussion.

Advice: Contreras took a glancing blow off of his head or neck on the final play of the game as Blake Perkins nailed the potential tying run at the plate to end the ballgame. The 26-year-old backstop remained on the ground for a few minutes afterwards, but ultimately was able to get up under his own power and was able to celebrate with his teammates. It doesn’t sound like anything serious, but fantasy managers may want to have an alternative option on hand for next week just to be on the safe side. Rotoworld Jun 16, 2:43 pm
