    • Returning from suspension Sunday
Blanco (suspension) will be added to Houston's active roster to start Sunday at Oakland, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The Astros unsurprisingly won't waste any time reinserting Blanco into the rotation upon the completion of his 10-game ban. The right-hander threw live batting practice Monday and shouldn't face any significant limitations in his first start back. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:42 pm

    • Espada: Ronel Blanco likely back Sunday vs. A’s
Astros manager Joe Espada told reporters Ronel Blanco will likely start on Sunday against the Athletics.

Advice: Blanco is currently serving an automatic 10-game suspension for violating the league’s illegal foreign substance rules, but he’s in line for a tasty matchup in his return against the struggling Athletics. Fantasy managers should prepare to get him back in their lineups later this week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:12 pm

    • Mitchell Parker fans seven in victory over Twins
Mitchell Parker surrendered three runs over six innings on Monday in a win over the Twins.

Advice: Parker fell behind early when Kyle Farmer connected for an RBI single in the second inning, but managed to keep Minnesota’s lineup scoreless until a sixth-inning homer by Carlos Correa. He generated 13 swinging strikes and finished with a solid 32 percent CSW. The 24-year-old southpaw has allowed three earned runs or fewer in seven straight starts to open his career, quickly emerging as an interesting streaming option for fantasy managers in deeper mixed leagues. • Solid in win
Parker (3-2) earned the win Monday against the Twins, allowing three runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: Parker tossed his second quality start of the season, requiring 94 pitches to complete the accomplishment. The rookie southpaw has impressed in his first 38 career innings, posting a 3.32 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 32:8 K:BB. Parker currently lines up to face the Mariners in his next start this weekend. • Takes another loss
Civale (2-4) took the loss Sunday against the Blue Jays, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and four walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Civale allowed five or more runs for the fourth time this season and yielded a solo home run to Daniel Vogelbach in the second inning. During his last six starts, Civale is 0-3 with an 8.48 ERA and a 26:12 K:BB across 32.2 innings. He's tentatively scheduled for a start during a three-game home series against the Royals next weekend. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:01 pm

    • Earns win against former team
Rodon (5-2) earned the win Sunday against the White Sox, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Rodon allowed a homer and a triple in the second inning, leading to two runs, but didn't allow another runner to cross the plate through six quality frames against his former club. According to Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News, Yankees manager Aaron Boone confessed after the game that Rodon was battling a cold all week, and the skipper considered pulling him after five but was impressed with the way he battled back after the shaky second frame. It was the third consecutive quality start and win for Rodon, who will carry a 3.27 ERA into his next start, tentatively slated to take place in San Diego when the Yankees travel to take on the Padres during a three-game weekend set. • Yields five runs
Rea (3-2) allowed five runs on eight hits and four walks over 4.1 innings Sunday, striking out five and taking the loss against the Astros.

Advice: Rea received a rude welcome with a four-run first inning by the Astros. He then managed to keep them in check until yielding another run in the fifth. Over his last three starts, Rea has registered a 7.20 ERA and has failed to complete five innings in two of those outings. The rough stretch has pushed his ERA from 2.67 to 4.07 through 48.2 frames. Rea has been tagged with a loss in two straight starts after beginning the year 3-0. His next start is expected to be in Boston next weekend. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:39 pm

    • Carlos Rodón goes six in defeating former team
Carlos Rodón pitched six innings of two-run ball and struck out six Sunday as the Yankees topped the White Sox 7-2.

Advice: Rodón got 23 missed swings today, with seven of those coming on the 18 changeups he threw. Rodón had been throwing the changeup just six percent of the time this season, and if he can continue to get results with that pitch, he’ll be considerably more dangerous. As is, Rodón is already 5-2 with a 3.27 ERA. Still, his peripherals haven’t backed up the ERA to date. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:50 pm

    • Colin Rea can’t escape 5th versus Astros
Colin Rea allowed five runs on eight hits in 4 1/3 innings in a loss to the Astros.

Advice: Things got off to a rough start for Rea, who allowed four runs on three hits in the first inning. He settled down for three innings after that, allowing three hits but no runs before running out of steam in the fifth. He posted a 19 percent whiff rate and 27 percent CSW on the day and now sports a 4.07 ERA on the year. He’s a risky start next week in Boston. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:08 pm
