    • Ronel Blanco returns with stellar start in win
Ronel Blanco allowed just one run on four hits in seven innings in a win over the A’s on Sunday.

Advice: Blanco struck out six and walked one, allowing just a solo home run to Max Schuemann in his outing. He induced 17 whiffs for a 31 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW. He got right back to doing what he was doing after his controversial suspension, and he now has a 1.99 ERA on the season to go along with a 5-0 record. He has a tougher test against the Twins next week but should be started against pretty much every offense right now while he’s pitching like this. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:05 pm

    • Craig Kimbrel locks down 12th save in win
Craig Kimbrel pitched a scoreless ninth to slam the door on a 4-1 win over the White Sox.

Advice: The save was Kimbrel’s 12th on the season and his third this week alone. The 35-year-old scared fantasy managers (and Orioles fans) in early May when he went through a rough patch that had him temporarily removed from the closer’s role. However, this is who Kimbrel is at this point. The veteran now has seven straight scoreless appearances and a 3.15 ERA on the season. He remains a solid closer option in fantasy leagues on one of the best teams in baseball. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:53 pm

    • Locks down 12th save
Kimbrel struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 4-1 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Kimbrel hasn't allowed a walk or a hit over his last 4.2 innings, and he's pitched 6.2 consecutive scoreless innings. He's earned a save in each of his last four outings, retaking the closer role after a shaky stretch in late April and early May saw him take a short stint in lower-leverage assignments. Kimbrel is 12-for-15 in save chances this season while posting a 3.15 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 29:9 K:BB over 20 innings. He's also collected four holds and a 4-1 record, but it looks like most of his appearances will be in the ninth inning going forward. Rotowire.com Sunday, 3:52 pm

    • Ronel Blanco reinstated for start against A’s
      Astros activated RHP Ronel Blanco.

Advice: Blanco was suspended for 10 games after being detected for a foreign substance on his glove He’ll get the start Sunday against the Athletics for the series finale. He should be activated from fantasy lineups for that outing. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:03 am

    • Back from suspension, starting Sunday
Blanco (suspension) was reinstated to the Astros' 26-man active roster Sunday and will start Houston's series finale versus the Athletics in Oakland.

Advice: As had been reported days earlier, Blanco will immediately slot back into the Houston rotation now that he's completed his 10-game ban after he was deemed to have used a foreign substance during his most recent start May 14, also versus Oakland. Assuming Blanco was able to stay fully ramped up while he was serving his suspension, he shouldn't face many restrictions when he takes the hill Sunday. Blanco has been a revelation for the Astros this season, compiling a 4-0 record, 2.09 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 45:21 K:BB in 47.1 innings across eight starts. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:51 am

    • Nails down 15th save
Holmes picked up the save over the Padres on Saturday, pitching a perfect ninth inning while striking out one.

Advice: Holmes made it look easy Saturday, retiring all three batters he faced in the ninth on a total of just seven pitches to record his 15th save of the season. The right-handed reliever has now converted his last two save opportunities after surrendering four runs to the Mariners on May 20, striking out at least one batter in each of those appearances. Holmes sits just one save behind Emmanuel Clase (16) for the American League lead after Saturday's outing. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:40 am
    • Earns ninth save
Diaz threw a perfect ninth inning against the Dodgers on Saturday to secure his ninth save of the season.

Advice: Diaz sat down Freddie Freeman, Will Smith and Teoscar Hernandez on a total of seven pitches to nail down the win for starter Hunter Greene. While Diaz still has an ugly 5.95 ERA this season, his job as the Reds' closer is not in jeopardy. He's squandered just one save in his last 10 chances, and with only two hits and two walks allowed in his last four appearances, Diaz seems to have turned the page after a rough stretch in mid-May. • Holmes picks up 15th save on Saturday
Clay Holmes tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Padres on Saturday.

Advice: Holmes pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning and struck out one on his way to his 15th save of the season, which is second among closers in all of baseball. He blew a save earlier this week, but has since bounced back with a four-out save and a clean ninth inning save. Holmes figures to continue racking up saves the way the Yankees’ season is going. • Alexis Díaz slams door on Dodgers on Saturday
Alexis Díaz slammed the door on the Dodgers on Saturday night, protecting a two-run lead to earn his ninth save of the season.

Advice: The 27-year-old right-hander looked like the dominant force of yesteryear in this one, getting Freddie Freeman on a fly ball to left, Will Smith on a fly ball to right and Teoscar Hernandez on a ground ball to second base — needing just seven pitches (all strikes) to retire the side in order. He has now delivered three straight scoreless outings and successfully converted each of his last two save chances. He now holds a 5.95 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and a 20/14 K/BB ratio over 18 2/3 innings on the season. Rotoworld Saturday, 6:57 pm
