  • Will Benson homers in loss to Cardinals
    Will Benson went 1-for-1 with a walk and a solo home run in a loss to the Cardinals on Tuesday.

    Advice: In one game, we saw the pluses and minuses of the Will Benson experience. He hit a solo home run off Kyle Gibson but was lifted for a pinch hitter in the eighth inning with a left-handed reliever on the mound. The 25-year-old flashed some intriguing power and speed upside last year, but he now has a .199/.300/.416 triple slash and the Reds are happy to remove him in the middle of a game when a lefty comes in.   • Back from injured list
    The Rangers activated Langford (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: The 22-year-old has been on the shelf more than three weeks due to a hamstring injury but will rejoin the Rangers after a three-game rehab stint with Triple-A Round Rock. Langford was struggling offensively before going on the injured list, as he was in the midst of a 3-for-28 slump. Evan Carter (back) was moved to the 10-day IL in a corresponding move.     Rangers activated OF Wyatt Langford from the 10-day injured list.

    Advice: Langford will make his highly-anticipated return for Tuesday’s showdown against Arizona on the heels of a three-week absence recovering from a right hamstring strain. The 22-year-old top prospect hasn’t exactly set the fantasy landscape ablaze following a sizzling-hot spring training performance, batting .224/.295/.293 with one homer, 11 RBI and one steal in 129 plate appearances over 31 contests.     Kyle Isbel (face) has returned to the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Twins.

    Advice: Isbel returns for Kansas City following a two-game absence after suffering a facial fracture when he fouled a ball off his face during Saturday’s contest against the Rays.     Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a run and two stolen bases in Monday's 3-2 victory over Houston.

    Advice: Rodriguez scored Seattle's second run in the first inning and padded his stat line with a pair of steals in the seventh. The star outfielder has four thefts over his past two contests following a 16-game stretch without any steals from May 9 to May 25. Though he's been pretty quiet with a .265/.309/.342 slash line on the season, Rodriguez has built some momentum in going 6-for-13 with two homers, five RBI, four runs and four stolen bases over his past three games.     Advice: Isbel fouled a ball off his face in Saturday’s game and has now missed two straight games. Dairon Blanco will start in his place on Monday, and if the Royals ever decided to give Blanco regular playing time over Isbel, his speed would be a major difference-maker in fantasy leagues.     Advice: Rodriguez did it all in this one, establishing a season-best with four RBI and recording a steal for the first time since May 8. The 23-year-old has largely been a disappointment this season, but performances such as this are a reminder of his incredible versatility.
