    • Ozzie Albies homers in win over Red Sox
Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: Albies hit a 401-foot shot that left the bat at 104.4 mph for his fourth home run of the season. The second baseman has just 29 RBI on the season to go along with a .275/.339/.410 slash line. He’s one of a surprising list of Braves players who haven’t been hitting at their usual level so far this season. There’s not much you can do in fantasy leagues; Albies is a talented player in a good lineup who should get it going over the summer. He’s highly unlikely to reach the 30+ home runs he’s hit in each of his last two fully healthy seasons, but he could put together another solid fantasy season. Rotoworld 54 minutes ago

    • Ends power drought
Albies went 2-for-3 with a double, a three-run home run and an additional run during Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Albies went yard for the first time in 22 games, plating Austin Riley and Marcel Ozuna in the sixth inning on a three-run shot off Kutter Crawford. He's been swinging a hot bat as of late, batting .324 with five doubles, six RBi and five runs scored in his last 10 games. After slugging a career-high 33 homers last season, Albies has just four round-trippers in 50 games in 2024 and his slugging percentage has dropped from .513 to .410. • Returning to action Tuesday
Estrada (thumb) is starting at second base and batting second Tuesday against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Estrada sat out the previous three games with a jammed thumb but is ready to take the field Tuesday in Arizona. The 28-year-old finished May on a modest four-game hit streak and went 7-for-17 with a double, an RBI and a run during that span. Rotowire.com Today, 3:42 pm
    • Thairo Estrada back in lineup Tuesday vs. D-backs
Thairo Estrada (thumb) is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Estrada is at second base and batting second for Tuesday’s showdown at Chase Field following a three-game absence due to left thumb soreness after jamming it last Friday on a slide into second base. Rotoworld Today, 3:30 pm
    • Absent from Tuesday's lineup
Carroll is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Giants.

Advice: One day after being moved down to the No. 8 spot in the Diamondbacks' batting order, Carroll is now out of the lineup altogether. Both games have come versus left-handers. Carroll is hitting a woeful .192/.280/.281 during his massively disappointing 2024 campaign. Jake McCarthy is in center field Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 1:51 pm
    • Corbin Carroll not in lineup Tuesday vs. southpaw
Corbin Carroll is absent from the lineup for Tuesday’s contest against the Giants.

Advice: Carroll was dropped to the eighth spot in Arizona’s lineup earlier this week for the first time this season and will take a seat on Tuesday evening for the first time since May 15 with lefty Kyle Harrison toeing the rubber for San Francisco in this one. The 23-year-old has struggled to a calamitous .561 OPS with two homers and nine steals through 58 games. Rotoworld Today, 1:50 pm
    • Drops to eighth in batting order
Carroll is starting in center field and batting eighth Monday night against the Giants, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Advice: Carroll's struggles at the dish have continued, as he's slashing .205/.289/.333 over his last 10 contests. Skipper Torey Lovullo noted that he'll likely bump Carroll down in the order against lefties moving forward, per Weiner. This change clears the way for Gabriel Moreno to move into the No. 2 spot in the order Monday evening. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:10 pm
    • Not starting Monday
Estrada (thumb) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Arizona, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Estrada will miss a third consecutive game after jamming his thumb Friday against the Mets. Brett Wisely will start at second base Monday and bat in the leadoff spot against Diamondbacks right-hander Ryne Nelson. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:26 pm
    • Corbin Carroll dropped to eighth in lineup
The Diamondbacks have Corbin Carroll batting eighth tonight against Giants left-hander Erik Miller.

Advice: Gabriel Moreno is batting second in his place. This might just be a special-occasion switch, since Miller is being looked at as an opener and dropping Carroll means he might not bat until righty Spencer Howard enters the game. The Diamondbacks typically dropped Carroll in the lineup against lefties last year, but that hasn’t been the case this season; he’s hit first or second against both lefties and righties, aside for a 10-game span in late April and early May in which he was dropped to the bottom of the order versus everyone. Arizona faces a lefty again tomorrow, so unless Torey Lovullo comments, we’ll have to wait and see whether this is a one-time thing, a change versus lefties or a semi-permanent move. The slumping Carroll’s batted-ball numbers got better for a time last month, even if his actual statistics didn’t. Unfortunately, though, they’ve faded again lately. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:52 pm
