      Advice: Gray took a perfect game into the seventh inning before Patrick Bailey launched a solo home run with two outs. Although the Cardinals' bullpen gave up two more runs, Gray was able to claim his ninth win of 2024, his most wins in a season since 2019. The 34-year-old has completed at least seven innings in three consecutive starts and owns a 2.95 ERA along with an 11.1 K/9 across 83.1 innings.       Advice: Beeks was given his first save opportunity since June 5 but couldn't come through for his seventh save of the campaign. Colorado led 1-0 heading into the ninth inning, but Beeks yielded an RBI double to Lane Thomas that plated CJ Abrams -- who advanced to second on a wild pitch -- before allowing Thomas to steal third and score on a two-out single by Joey Meneses.       Advice: Irvin tied his career high in strikeouts Sunday, matching his K total from a May 28 start against Atlanta. The lone run against the 27-year-old came on a solo home run by Michael Toglia in the second inning -- the game's lone run until the Nationals' two-run ninth inning. Irvin has logged a quality start in five of his last six starts and holds a 2.06 ERA with 37 strikeouts across 35.0 innings during that stretch.       Advice: Marsh tied his season high in hits allowed Sunday and failed to complete six innings for the fourth time in his last five starts. While he didn't surrender a home run, the Rangers did tag Marsh for three doubles. All three runs against Marsh came in the fourth inning, when he allowed three straight hits to open the frame before yielding a two-out, two-RBI single to Leody Taveras. After posting a 4-2 record and a 3.24 ERA across his first nine starts, Marsh has put up a 6.66 ERA with a 1-3 record in June.
