• Four hits, two homers vs. Cleveland
Ibanez went 4-for-4 with two home runs, a double, four total RBI and four total runs scored in Tuesday's 11-7 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Ibanez led off the game with a solo homer off Logan Allen before breaking a 2-2 tie with a three-run shot in the second inning. It's the second multi-homer game of Ibanez's career, though he hadn't logged an extra-base hit through his first 13 games this season. The 31-year-old utility man is now slashing .364/.361/.576 in 36 plate appearances with seven RBI and seven runs scored. Ibanez could take on a platoon role at second base as Colt Keith's struggled to start the campaign. Rotowire.com 10 minutes ago

  • Bryce Harper homers, drives in four in win
Bryce Harper went 3-for-3 with a grand slam in a 10-1 win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Advice: Harper took a fourth inning pitch from Jose Berrios and hit it 360 feet for a grand slam that left the bat at 95.4 mph and would have been a home run in only two stadiums. Of course, Harper isn’t complaining and neither are his fantasy managers. The 31-year-old is now up to nine home runs and 28 RBI on the season and remains one of the most valuable hitters in fantasy. • Stott has two hits, steal in win
Bryson Stott went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in a win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Advice: Stott picked up two single to up his triple slash to .245/.339/.377 on the year and also swiped his eighth stolen base. Stott has moved around between second base and shortstop since Trea Turner went down with a hamstring injury, and it’s hard to imagine Stott getting many days off over the next six weeks while Turner is out. The power hasn’t been there this year, but the steals are valuable and Stott should get the opportunity to pick up important counting stats while hitting in a good lineup. • Danny Jansen has two hits in loss
Danny Jansen went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in a loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.

Advice: Jansen was the only Blue Jay to post multiple hits, lacing a 102.9 mph double and also picking up a 91.7 mph single. The only time he was retired was on a 106.3 mph lineout that had a .660 xBA. Jansen has been good since coming off the IL and is now hitting .325/.426/.700. Given how poorly the rest of the lineup is hitting, Jansen should be in the lineup on most days for the foreseeable future. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago

  • Cristopher Sánchez shuts down Blue Jays in win
Cristopher Sánchez allowed one run on six hits over seven innings in a win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Advice: Sánchez took advantage of a reeling Blue Jays lineup, allowing just two extra-base hits while striking out five and walking two. The changeup did most of the heavy lifting for Cristopher Sánchez, posting a 55 percent whiff rate and 39 percent CSW. The left-hander had a 23 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW on the day, as the sinker didn’t miss many bats, but the slider pounded the zone for strikes. The effort lowers his ERA to 3.22 and he gets another solid matchup against the Mets next week. Rotoworld 21 minutes ago
  • José Berríos coughs up 8 runs in loss to Phillies
José Berríos allowed eight runs on seven hits in 3 2/3 innings in a loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.

Advice: Berríos was able to strike out seven on the day, compared to just two walks, and he allowed just three hard-hit balls all day. However, that led to four extra-base hits and two home runs, so the Phillies made the most of their contact. Berríos was able to post a solid 27 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW on the day and allowed an average exit velocity of 90.4 mph, but he put himself in tough spots by throwing just 42 percent of his pitches in the strike zone. All in all, it feels like more of an off night for Berríos than the sign of any major regression. He now has a 2.85 ERA on the season and will get another tough test against the Orioles next week. • Tylor Megill whiffs seven in rehab start at AAA
Tylor Megill (shoulder) recorded seven strikeouts over four shutout innings on Tuesday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Syracuse.

Advice: Megill threw 62 pitches (42 strikes) in his third rehab start and is expected to make one additional rehab outing later this week before rejoining New York’s pitching mix. The 28-year-old righty has been on the shelf since early April due to a right shoulder strain. Rotoworld 27 minutes ago

  • Gallen throws six shutout in win
Zac Gallen threw six shutout innings in a 6-2 win over the Reds, allowing just one hit while striking out six.

Advice: Gallen also walked three batters on the day and started just 11 of the 22 batters he faced with a strike. In fact, Gallen threw pitches in the strike zone just 46 percent of the time on the day; however, when he was able to get a pitch in the zone, the Reds had a really tough time making contact which led Gallen to post a 26 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW. It wasn’t his sharpest outing, but he benefited from a Reds team that is having a tough time hitting anybody right now. The effort lowered Gallen’s ERA to 2.84, and he gets a much tougher test against the Orioles this weekend. Rotoworld 30 minutes ago

  • Kyle Hendricks makes rehab start at Triple-A
Kyle Hendricks (back) allowed one run over 4 1/3 innings on Tuesday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Iowa.

Advice: Hendricks struck out six, issued three walks and threw 85 pitches (53 strikes) in his latest rehab outing. The soft-tossing 34-year-old righty is working his way back from a lower-back issue that sent him to the injured list last month and should be close to returning to Chicago’s starting rotation mix.
