    Advice: Adames managed to collect all three of his doubles from different Cardinals pitchers, hitting one each off Lance Lynn, Matthew Liberatore and Kyle Leahy. With his effort Friday night, the Brewers shortstop reached double-digit two-baggers, sporting 10 doubles on the season.     Advice: Alexander has been taking a backseat to the steadier glove of Kevin Newman now that he’s cooled off at the plate, and the start today was his second in Arizona’s last five games.     Corey Seager homered and drove in two runs in a loss to the Rockies on Friday.

    Advice: Seager got the Rangers on the board with a homer, and he drove in another run with a bases-loaded walk that tied the game at 2-2. Things are starting to pick up for the 30-year-old star, but his .239/.314/.345 slash is obviously one of the more disappointing developments of the (early) 2024 campaign.     The Angels placed Adrianza on the 10-day injured list Friday with back spasms, retroactive to Thursday.

    Advice: Adrianza reported having problems with his lower back Friday, and the issue is apparently severe enough to warrant a trip to the injured list.     Advice: The 25-year-old infielder flopped in his first taste of big league action in 2023, but perhaps things will be different this time around. Schmitt was hitting .276/.320/.448 with five homers, 31 RBI and five stolen bases through his first 33 games at Triple-A Sacramento.
